Some of the major SS have a set shipping rate regardless of what the listing actually says. TBS is 15 Yuan for example. If they have a set fee, list that. If in doubt, just leave shipping blank, and they'll sort it out.

The crossed out price you sometimes see is usually because there's a VIP price available. Most SS aren't VIPs for any shops, so just list the crossed out price. If there's a sale on however, check when the sale will end. If theres still a few days, list the sales price. Mind you, some SS have apparently deliberately ignored orders until after the sale was over, so the price (and their commission) was higher.

Think about it... Do the math.
Sometimes it's cheaper with eBay, sometimes Taobao.
Remember you can't just use Google to convert x Yuan into your currency, as each Taobao agent uses their own form of conversion. Although Google translates 1 CNY = 0.160 USD, a lot of shopping services make 1 CNY = 0.168 USD... Might not seem like much, but it definitely adds up.
Then you have to times the percentage fee (5%-10% depending on who you use), domestic shipping (15 yuan), and think about how much internatioinal shipping will cost you.

Ali, ebay, and taobao for mostly normalfag clothes and cosplay.
For lolita, some taobao indie quality is up to par with brand, such as KL and R-Series.
I think only a small portion of anons in these threads buy replicas though, in terms of prints.
Although I do know that replica bags are pretty common, replica bag quality is almost as good as their original, as brand specializes in clothes and less on their bags, shoes, etc.
(Plus, why spend that extra $100 on a brand bag when you can use it to save up for a brand dress instead?)

Oosp, posted before I saw you had responded as well. Anyway, it's a lot cheaper to get on taobao when you buy in bulk or don't mind waiting a month to get your parcel.

When I made my very first taobao order I got like 5 items and spent 60 on shipping (EMS) so I paid $165 for everything which included http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=20226184266 and the Galaxy Seifuku. After totaling up how much I spent on shipping since it was a small order I did all by myself, it did cost a lot. But think of it this way. Some places charge 50-60 for the Galaxy Seifuku (most StoreEnvy) and 40-60 for the winged backpack. That's also not including shipping, which could cost you another 15-20 as well. Ultimately if you either get a bigger order together with friends or are ok with slower shipping, it's a lot cheaper to buy it on taobao. Not to mention, their rating systems are more reliable, I find.

However, if you're only gonna buy like a dress or two, I'd say stick with ebay though sometimes you get what you pay for. I refuse to buy another winged backpack anywhere else then where I got it from because I've seen such horrid replicas, I'm scared if I search for a liiiittle bit cheaper, I'll get a shitty one slapped in my face that I won't even touch...

I own these two dresses from miss point. Both are constructed very nicely. The tan dress's lace is kind of lame but it was clearly shown in the listing. Both dresses were 100% accurate to pictures and measurements.

I find it pretty funny how people always talk about CP being really slow. I ordered 2 bell pettis with them and it only took a week for me to get them. What's the time frame on your Persona 4 cosplay? My SS (TBR) told me it'd take 20-25 working days to custom make. I look at the cossky listing but I don't see where they got that.
