Stupid, bipolar weather. Back in 2012 I had heavy, long sleeve costumes (which I've been fine with bringing to AN in the past) and couldn't wear them for over 3 hours with the intense heat. Last year I brought light costumes and was freezing and the wind completely ruined one of my wigs. I'm cosplaying something inbetween this year, but I hope it's nice.. I don't remember the last time it's actually been "warm" and lasted for more than two days.

She's fat and the costume she is wearing is on the skimpy side, but the character she is cosplaying is fat and happens to wear it. It's from an anime that is old, so she doesn't think anyone will recognize her and will just see her as another nasty hambeast. She's already made a few modifications to the design. It was way too revealing before.

I think it just depends on the cons. If AN doesn't allow it, other Toronto area cons will likely follow suit. Disney is pretty militant about copyright and so it's just the cons looking out for themselves. Though I think Canada has stricter copyright laws than the US for some things.

So, I just ordered a jacket and goggles, the last pieces of my Big Boss costume. I will be very surprised if I'm not the only guy dressed as Big Boss in that bitchin' 80s get-up at the end of the Phantom Pain trailer. Should be fun.
