I considered if I should tag my stuff with "plus size Lolita" to get more notes (not really a fatty, but on the plus size side for Lolita), but I do not want to be associated with... Most of the time I figure half the pictures of me from conventions never see the light of day or they end up in some obscure facebook gallery from the con that I never see, even at tiny conventions. Oh well. I usually take care to make sure I get my own personal photos in a few different poses in differing lighting and choose the best to post myself so I at least have one. Once in awhile a bad one or two ends up online and gets reblogged. I don't care that much honestly. But it's a little bothersome when it's a truly bad one (I don't really look THAT ugly). Same with candid photos. I look derped, angry, and possibly constipated in most candid non-posed photos.

Sometimes you can't if they are very good fakes. This one isn't. You can see the stitching is out of line, the diamonds do not line up and the strap stitching is incorrect as are the rings attaching the strap. Often the clasp won't be the correct one for the bag model but I didn't even bother to check that far because the other points are obvious.

It is because Bodyle had free shipping world wide until March 31st, which means a lot of people ordered; especially beginners since Bodyline is cheap.
The problem is that Bodyline is a hit or miss in quality and design, and many noobs choose their more "Ita"-pieces which usually tend to look horrible especially if you do not have any experience with the fashion.

It's such a shame, too. Old school style socks like that can be mishandled very easily, but they'll always have a special place in my heart. I have that skirt the girl on the right has in brown, and I gotta admit, it is pretty tough to coordinate. All the pinks are salmon-y, and the ribbon on the pattern is a weird halfway between purple and lavender. I've considered selling/trading it because I haven't been able to make a decent outfit with it yet.
