No. secret shop does not exist as a taobao store front any longer. The only thing 'VIP' about them is the fact that at this point they have contracts with a select few sellers that they will sell to. You'll need to keep your eye on Clobba for most reserves. And you can try searching for secondhand secret shop shoes on taobao, they do pop up, that's how I got my gold etc ones

Not always from my experience.
Honestly, if you don't want to worry about having a refunded balance in your yoybuy account (assuming you're not planning on shopping there again, or just wanna try other services next time) I would say underestimate it or you'll just have store credit sitting around.
They will actually weigh it when they get it all and if it is different than the estimations, they'll just ask you to pay the difference.

Anybody ordered one of these? Is the XL like, plus or just a step up from medium? I'm assuming there's no stretch to the skirt and it just zips.

Hey, I had a question. What are prohibited items that can't leave China via EMS?

I recently did a pretty big order with about 9 other people, and this order totaled to about ~22kg, and a total of about $1500, including agent fee, insurance, customs, shipping, products, ETC.

The things that didn't pass the customs test was (2) things of mascara, (1) Eyelash glue, (1) Eyeshadow palette, and 2) powder contouring kit.

I'm wondering to what extent these things are accepted, because I've gotten wig detanglers which is probably so much more liquid than any of these, and I've also gotten the same powder contouring kit before and have had no problems with it. Does the size of my parcel change the outcome? Or could I chalk it up to some error on the customs the last times I got those items just fine? Alternatively, should I be worried or suspiscious?

East Coast Canadian here. I've never tried EMS, but SAL took ~33 business days (so around 1-2 months) and DHL took like... 7 days. During Christmas season. I'm supposing EMS is between that...? If I count by worst case scenario, I would order in a couple of days, not a couple of weeks. You also need to account for the time it takes for the package to arrive domestically and the time it takes for TBS to ship.

Of course, worst case scenario is worst case scenario. It's not 'unrealistic' for you to expect it for May 20th.

Yeah same here, I've never ordered EMS. I have done SAL with taobaospree before though and that did take roughly a month. I would think EMS would be fine though, I usually order EMS from figure sites and those take roughly 2 weeks to arrive. (In the Toronto area anyway.)
If DHL is an option though, go with that for sure. Usually takes 5 days to a week from my experience.

This probably sounds stupid, but do the bras you get on taobao do a better job of pushing you up and together than ones you get from a regular store? When I see them, they look closer together in the middle, rather than a pretty big gap between the underwire like most bras have.

The floral wine dress is really nice. It's fully lined, has a side zip, and a bit of shirring on the back. There are no mistakes in the print and the lace at the bottom is crocheted although I can tell it's quite weak,

The white blouses are all really nice quality with no faults at all minus the one next to the wig. It's really stiff and thin which is a combination I never knew possible. I don't mind too much since I was going to use it to layer under the floral sweater dress.

The Boy London replica isn't really a sweater now that I see it. It's pretty thin and the print is the heaviest part of it. But it was super cheap so I'm not really bummed about it.

The waist is rather high on this OP which may also give the illusion that the size for the waist is very large.
It's only slightly longer than an empire waist probably.
Go by the size of your ribcage and not the natural waist.

Yeah, I realized after I said "very large" I should've taken it back. It seems large to me since I'd only done one other taobao order and it was a shitty amount of four items.

The most expensive out of all of them is a few blouses that were about 100 Yuan each and I believe a couple of the wigs were about 80-100 as well. But yes, some of the male clothing brought it up. My boyfriend finally caved and decided to buy some more clothing to join his wardrobe.

I also have an 88 cm bust and I'd get the M. 90 cm is the perfect close fit for me but only if it's cut right and comes out exactly 90 cm. That's not a given. I've had pieces end up a couple cm smaller or larger than stated because manufacturing is not that precise. Given the sizing on that piece (runs large, so probably meant to be worn looser) and the sleeves, it would probably look better a little loose than a little tight.

I love it and am only waffling because it's high waisted. I can really see myself in the blue without crosses, though.

What are your favorite things you've gotten from taobao? Like what things have you gotten the most use out of?
I'm really happy with the winged backpack (you know the one that came in pastel pink/blue and black) I got in January last year - I've used it a lot and while I had to reattach one of the straps, it's been very great bag. I've also found that the tights I've gotten off taobao have been incredibly good too, they don't run easily at all for me.
