I've been seeing some really good Sakizo costumes lately. Let's see some more!

Also, I would love some good examples of people doing great makeup to go with their costumes. Sometimes I feel like that's the part that gets messed up the most.

I want to do a Sakizo cosplay. It would be a good test of my 12 years of sewing.
But I can't find one I like with tan skin that is wearing clothing like the rest of them.

Is there a repository of images so I can pick something else out?

Not really - Sakizou's very good at controlling how her art is distributed and seems to go on weekly checks through tumblr and the like to make sure no one's posting any HQ scans of her artbooks. Sometimes someone will post their scans here so if you request it they might again.

As for tan skin characters - she tends to head for Middle Eastern looks with them so no, there aren't any that have the same OTT lacy creations with bustiers. There's 'Dry Curry' from her Delicious Girls book that's been based off exoticised belly dancer outfits and 'Oriental' from Parfum la Fascination who's got four arms with the belly dancer/Princess Jasmine flair as well.

Just do a design you like and ignore the skin colouring. It's not as if every Sakizou cosplayer has the sylph-like body of all her girls anyway.

Different anon here, but what do you think about maybe ignoring hair coloring? The vast majority of the Sakizou cosplays that I'd really like to do are all blonde. I've tried a bunch of different blonde wigs on in the past, but regardless of the tone (honey, platinum, golden, etc) or my makeup, blonde is just not a good hair color on me.
If I were to do another hair color, I'd try to use a coordinating color in the outfit somewhere.
