Old one is dead.

Has anyone bought this or something similar? I'm tempted, but I'm obviously a little worried about quality.

Listing from the seller I bought from ended, but a quick search of "faux suede bows t-strap mary janes" will bring up the same item.
I got it in pink.

No pics because I'm lazy, but the colour and style is fairly accurate.
It looks cute, but quality isn't that great.
The buckle is really bad quality, it`s not attached to the shoe very well and the strap is wider than the buckle, so it`s kind of awkward.
I probably won`t be playing with the buckle though, so it`s not a big issue for me.

The inside of the shoe is also not comfortable. I noticed it the first time I put my foot into the shoe, there`s a weird bump right under the heel. I had to put in some insoles to minimize that awkwardness, but that makes the shoe a little smaller.
Would recommend getting half a size up to shove in an insole. (I can still feel it with an insole though)

The bows are also badly hot glued on. I pried at it a little and one fell off with little effort.
I'll probably just stick it back on myself later though.

I`m not sure if the cuteness of the shoe justifies the $28 I bought it for tbh.
Maybe cheaper from an auction, but I`m definitely not impressed by the quality.

>> No.7454229

>>7454228
Oh, I should probably add that I`m probably criticizing a little harshly.
Another anon had positive experiences with this shoe a couple threads ago.
We got it in from the same seller, shibuyagirls109.

Can anyone review some grimoire replicas?

>> No.7455130

>>7454169

I got two from different sellers, shibuya girls and jp.fashionhouse. Neither of them were very good, they aren't very comfortable and the bows fell of before wearing them. However jp.fashionhouse was extra terrible because they didn't ship out till after ten days and then lied that they had done it within the promised three day period, but the tracking told me it wasn't shipped out till after I complained.

>>7454228
I reviewed both of them, I was mostly positive about shibuyagirls because there service was okay (especially compared to jp.fashionhouse), the shoes were cheap.

Yeah just do as the other person said and it should work fine. I double checked just now to make sure of it. I included the picture from the listing because I know that I'm lazy sometimes and look at the pictures instead of all the links.

Shipping: took a little over 2 weeks. Which isn't terribly fast but it was within the dates that they gave me for arrival time.

Size and fit: I fit in a 32 B size bra and got a medium the band around the rib cage was a little tight but I got used to it after wearing it a few minutes. The wire isn't too uncomfortable but I know that not everyone likes having wire in their bikini. The bottoms are a bit tight but they are doable and I'm glad that it includes both bikini shorts and the normal bikini bottom. Material seams pretty sturdy though the red bow is just tied about the middle part and not sewn in place so I might do that myself.

For 13 bucks it's a really good deal though and I'm happy with how it looks on me!

I'll get some links of shops I've bought from when I get home, but honestly I wouldn't be worried. Buyer protection is very good. And just buy from shops with a lot of transactions and a good rating (99%+).

I'm not sure exactly how eBay's algorithm works but this is how I shop on it:
1. Search for an item using whatever keywords I can think of.
2. See what the popular keywords are.
3. Use "sort by price + shipping: lowest first" with those keywords to get an idea of the prices.
4. Sort by best match to buy from the bigger shops as long as the price difference isn't too much. I'd probably pay 10% extra to buy from a shop with more transactions and a higher rating, depending on the item price.

I have. My order arrived very fast, after a week of placing it, and I live in the UK. Quality is questionable but everything fits, nothing looks like it'll fall apart immediately. I got the Love Story skirt in navy, the je t'aime silhouette skirt in brown and the je t'aime chiffon shirt with tie. The colours in everything are a bit off everytime, everything is darker/more brown than in the pictures.

It's pretty cute, but would not recommend anyone significantly above 160cm.

I got this suit too!

It's really great, but it's a bit small on me.

I wear a 26D, and the top fits perfectly, but my American size 1 bottom is a little too big. Not uncomfortably so, but just enough to awkwardly squish my thighs a little. (I got the M as well.) They'll probably stretch out a little bit.

As you said, I'm really glad it came with shorts AND bottoms.

I have some pics of it if anyone wants to see it worn by a real person.

Looking at the photos, the Living Dead mermaid print leggings are likely to be the same material as the Black Milk ones. I've seen this fabric for sale at numerous Australian fabric warehouses so it's highly possible that a lot of companies have picked it up for BM knock offs.
The other ones though look slightly thinner in weight and one of them has visible waistband twisting in the stock image, so I'd be hesitant. I mean, $20 ebay/Taobao knockoffs are one thing but if you're willing to pay $55 + shipping might as well get Black Milk.

I have some axes femme dresses I want to sell, and I was thinking about doing it on Ebay. I looked up Axes Femme on the site and people there are selling it way over price like $95 dollars for one of the dresses. That's insane. I would probably price mine no more than 40. Most likely 30 or 35. Would people buy it? What about lolita? Do lolita dresses sell well there? I never used Ebay before.

Yes, though you're far more likely going to have people searching for lolita and the well known brands than axes femme. Just list your axes femme dresses on the BST thread here on /cgl/ or post them on lacemarket undr the indie japanese category.

Yes!
I buy real BM for things I really want (the two sided skaters & designer prints) and I buy replicas of things I want, but don't want to pay the price for (mainly themed print shit that I would wear rarely).

I have to say, the equality isn't awful, especially for the price. It's no where near BM's quality but it's wearable. The bodycon dresses run really big, and their baggy, same with the swim suits, but the leggings, if you're between a small and a medium, they fit perfect. I recently got a knock-off of the whoa dude skater and it fits like my BM skaters, the fabric is just thinner.

As for the print quality, it's hit or miss. Some are really good like the whoa dude, midnight owls, and Cthulhu. But some aren't so good, I got the Middle Earth Map leggings and holy shit is the print terrible and looks bad. Avoid.

I bought some makeup organizers from ebay and they still haven't arrived. I contacted the seller and opened a case and the seller told me they would refund me if I wait for a week and close the case because it's "very bad for their reputation". However, I still haven't received shit and can't reopen the case for the same item... Did I done goofed?

>> No.7505044

>>7505033
Yea you fucked up. You're not supposed to close the case until you get what you seeked out of the case. Now you have no ground to stand on.

Call ebay and provide documentation of their fraud by asking you to wait more time and cancel the case against them. If it was done through ebay messaging system, the better. That is a huge rule violation.

>>7505033
haha yeah, they totally fucked you over. I'm surprised shit like that works. call ebay and ask for a place to send screencaps of the messages (which they will have anyway)

Oh no no sorry I misunderstood.
I bought them in February and the latest estimated delivery date was in the beginning of April, a week or two ago. I somehow understood it as "when did you message them?".

Yeah, I would call ebay up and explain how you fucked up. They might be able to help you.
