The con I'm going to is Kumoricon, and they have major space issues. They occupy two hotels and overflow into a park. The park and inbetween the hotels is where I would be making fireballs.

Contacts aren't an issue, I can obtain those, and have used them (shitty as fuck Alucard cosplay last year), but I'm rather clueless on makeup beyond smothering my face in white cream (vampires are easy to go as to anything). Would you reccomend anything specific, or direct me to the correct place?

For make up, I'm afraid I can't help you that much. I don't cosplay, I larp, so it isn't the same requirement. Smothering your face with a good fondation is good enought, maybe a little bit of contouring to achieve the bisho look and khol to darken your eyebrows.
I think you can find contouring tutorials on youtube. Wear a primer too.
I'm not in the US, so I don't know your con, but you may ask security about those fireballs before hand, explaining how it works and why it isn't dangerous.

The newest thing is this water base airbrush stuff that doesn't cake. That would be good and I'm sure they have better air brushes somewhere as this one seemed cheep. Professional grade stuff would have the color you need and staying power should be pretty good.

I can tone down the smile/frown lines a lot, that's just me being tired. I actually dye my eyebrows when I do my hair. I'm fond of Lorelle's 'Midnight Black' dye, as it's more than black. How long do you have before the con? I recommend hitting up /fit/ and dropping a bit of weight. The angle of the picture is clearly a flattering one. You've got potential, and I like your style, but at this point, there aren't many cosplays you can do accurately. You can loose about two pounds of body fat a week safely, and that honestly adds up fast in terms of aesthetics, as fat isn't all that dense.

If you have two months, you can drop 20 pounds. It's all up to you, and you need to make it happen. You complain about a baby face, you can fix it. I know you can, and I want you to. Consider it a personal challenge.

I would recommend punk or punk-goth characters, due to the piercings. gothlolis, however are more delicate and the studs or holes in your lips are quite jarring and do stand out.

I'm trying to get more into cosplay and I am going to cosplay Nia Teppelin at some point and I'm working on a cosplay for an upcoming convention right now.

What's your aversion to deads? A strong deadlift equates a strong body. I often see confusion on this point; the deadlift is not a lower back or lower body movement, it's a fullbody movement.

Every compound lift is going to incorporate strength from your posterior chain, if you ignore that now all of your lifts will suffer.

That's not that great. I was and still am a hungry skeleton and I was repping 185 my first time.

After about a month and a half I was at 315x2 without gaining weight at all. Conversely, I had to start with squatting the bar. and only could manage 225 after a year. So basically, you you should work on your deadlift more. Having that strong back and core just makes you feel like a powerhouse. I was deadlifting 4-5 times a week using pavel's methods in power to the people. Shit's great.

I was able to do 24 in my prime. You should do GTG, where you set up a pullup bar in your door and every time you go by it do a few pullups. If your max is 5, do 1 pullup every time, and at 8-10 try to do 2 every time you walk by. This shit was great for getting my pullups up to where they needed to be very quickly. Then, at the gym, I'd do weighted pullups. Took about two months to get to 24 from about 6.

Well, do as you please man. If you're deadlifting once a week, you're giving your CNS plenty of recovery time so you should be adding 20lbs a session.

Deads will help with your grip strength on deads; focus on dead hangs too. It'll get you used to supporting your weight. Hopefully you'll be repping out pullups soon.

I know how you feel, guy. I put a lot more focus on my back than anything else, but everything comes together when you get your squats and deads in order.

Figured as much for the Dovahkiin (default studded armor+iron boots, helmet, gloves).

Semi-easy outfit. Only really hard part for that outfit it the metal parts. Helmet I can order, but the rest, not so sure. Got a retailer nearby that sells cloth, fake fur, and probably leather by the yard, so making the leather bits aren't hard.

I'm not one to really compete with clothing and yeah, winning shit isn't that important.Though I do think the general quality of the outfits at my con are low enough that I could win something with a classy home made Dragonborn outfit.

For metal part I usually paint wood or hard plastic with three coats (first on in dark grey, second metallic grey, third is transparent coating), but dunno about con rules and what's allowed. You can work it with resin too. As for the sword, most coplayers use plastic ones but if you want to play around with it, larping swords are better. It's easy to make but you can find it online too (a little bit more expensive thought).

Here's what I got in terms of a checklist so far.

Head: Iron Helmet replica (fangs/contacts/makeup maybe)
Shoulders: single shoulderpad on right, with additional leather for support
Chest: Sleeveless leather shirt, metal circle with carvings in center of chest with X shaped leather holding it on. X connects with metal ring on back.
hands: gloves, use (foam/plastic/wood+paint+rivets)+(brown leather gloves+fur)+leather strips
leather tying it down (glue it down, leather across/under it)
waist/legs: thick leather belt, fur slighly over the top and going down to mid thigh, covering down to knees on front and back. leather from the waist over the ass and knees, studded/embroidered
feet: same style as gloves, but with a pair of brown leather boots instead of gloves
Aditional: Steel sword replica, banded iron sheild replica, black hooded cloak if vamp dovahkiin.

Loose a few pounds and you'll never have to think badly of skimpy clothes again. It really is worth it.

Half hour of cardio a day+cut 90% of sugar and simple carbs. Bam. You are now on a diet that works and should be loosing 2 pounds a week. Simple carbs are what cause people to gain weight. Period. They are insanely calorie dense and cause your blood sugar levels to go all over the place and cause fat growth.

If you cut sugar, corn, and white flour, you will loose weight, I can almost guarantee it. No, you can't have fake sugar.

I really suggest getting to an ideal body fat level before cosplaying.
