idk how else to phrase it, but the square neckline so that it doesn't show. I also had princess sleeves in mind. It would do nicely with the ruffled hem. You could try a white fur stole with plenty of rhinestone accessories, white patterned stocking and sliver shoes to match the accessories. But that's just one way to go. I think anything with an elegant them would do nicely.

Personally I wouldn't call it lolita, it looks just like some vintage A-line dress, especially with the bodice. It's still a cute dress though.

I really like this dress. The bodice and skirt don't seem to match but I like the direction it's going in. It's a more 'normal' kind of 'Lolita'. Not casual but more like clothing you could wear without standing out too much but still looking nice. Kind of like a prom dress with a Lolita outline.

I know I'm probably the only one, but I personally like the black OP on the left (even though it's a big too expensive for a plain dress for me, so I'm gonna try to get it second hand some day), and the piano key dress is very cute imo. That blue dress in the right corner also looks promising. The blouse and lace stole (?) also seem interesting. The two printed dresses and the printed skirt look ugly though imo.
They always feature a few items in the GLB which they never release btw (and it almost always used to be the non printed items in the past), I'll keep my fingers crosses that we'll see a bit more diversity in releases from JetJ this year.

That bodice is such a simple shape, and no embellishment, so all the "action" is in the skirt (two fabrics, all those ruffles) so it makes sense to me that the skirt would not be much cheaper. She said _almost_ the same, not the same.

I notice the skirt is a full circle skirt, which needs a lot of fabric to lay out the shape (even if you cut it as two half circles it still requires a lot of fabric). It's possible that her highest cost component is the specialty printed fabric, so the cost savings in not making a bodice just isn't all that significant (and is probably offset by needing to make a waistband anyway).

Unless they seriously inflate their prices to begin with, I don't see how there could be less than a $50 gap between the bodice and skirt portion.
