Hi anon. I have read the comic through entirely, and it's really not "groundbreaking". As this >>7397884 anon said, Homestuck pulls jokes and cliches from other pop culture happenings and the humor gets old really fast due to repetitive jokes. I agree that some parts of the comic are good, but overall it's so busy and annoying that I really couldn't get into it beyond a few cosplays. There's two other (correct, according to you) definitions above my post, I think we're safe. Like I said I was defining it in the context that anon asked and even gave a good example, sorry I didn't spell it out completely.

At this point it can be argued that cultural appropriation has taken on a negative definition versus it's older, neutral definition. Even the anons above me acknowledged that. Words, phrases and their definitions evolve. They take on different meanings over time. My fault? Certainly not. Just because I didn't denote the fact that my "too lazy to look it up to copy and paste" definition of cultural appropriation in the context that anon asked is not the original definition of cultural appropriation, does not mean that it holds no water.
