They both seem really uncomfortable. Like, they thought it would be fun to do a kinda gay-ish pic, but they weren't actually comfortable enough with each other to relax into the pose. Their whole bodies are so stiff. Look at how stiff their arms are in particular, like they are touching just enough to look legit-ish, but they are tight, like they are trying to not really squish into the other person. And their expressions have this look of "I am ok with this for a pic, but I can't wait to get the fuck up and go back to my 1-2 foot personal space"

at least, that is why I think this looks weird.

A friend and I are looking into cosplaying Shinji and Asuka in their original plugsuits. What can I do so that they're not total shit-tier? What kind of fabric would you guys suggest we use? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Yeah, Shinji is meant to look really average while Kaworu is more attractive and stand out-ish because well..., you know.

Also, Shinji has really dark brown to black hair with brown eyes. That Shinji is just really off accuracy wise.
