Give them deadlines, keeping in mind the 45 day Paypal deadline. Make sure the deadlines still leave you plenty of time to file a claim if you need to. Good plan anon, stick to your guns and don't let them trick you into closing it before you get those items.

You might already be aware, but just to warn you that a Paypal dispute will be closed automatically after 20 days unless it's escalated to a claim, so keep an eye on the date and be ready to escalate if things aren't sorted by then.

In case people weren't aware:

When you first open a case with Paypal, it's called a dispute. The objective is for you and the seller to come to an agreement. The dispute will be closed if you both agree to a resolution, or automatically after 20 days if the dispute isn't escalated to a claim.

A claim is the next step up, and this is when you're asking Paypal themselves to sort the case out for you. You want to do this if you and the seller can't come to an agreement, or if the seller is being unresponsive. If you've already opened a dispute, and the items still aren't there you also want to escalate before the 20 days are up to protect yourself. You can always sort things out with the seller afterwards if the items do turn up, but really they should have got the items to you before this stage.

You have another 9-10 days, so don't feel like you have to make a move now if you don't want to. When it gets to day 44, open the dispute. You'd then have another 20 days before needing to escalate to a claim. Altogether, that would have given it nearly two months to get to you if she did ship on the 9th.

Put it this way, if you have to resort to a claim, and the item does turn up safe and sound, there's nothing to stop you sending them the money if you wanted to. In some way, having a claim filed against them might teach them a harsh lesson, if they're a genuine seller but just shit at it.

tl;dr just don't let those Paypal deadlines slip past you and you'll be fine anon. If you do end up getting refunded, but the item then turns up you can always work something out with the seller to reimburse them.

Okay seagulls, I'm a little scared and I need advice. I was browsing the lolita tag on Tumblr and I came across someone selling their pink Candy Sprinkle salopette set. Its brand new with tags (I removed the tag to try it on, but I still have it).
This JSK is very roomy and adjustable.
Id say the max bust would be about 40", max waist is 34".
The bodice has boning, and the back can be let down to make a train. The straps can also be totally removed to make it a bustier JSK.
This JSK is just beautiful and can be worn in so many ways.

this happen to me too, I went back to the post office so many times after it just stopped tracking all together. Do I need to name and shame who /I/ bought it from here? Because they lied to me about measures and I was so mad at it I didn't look at it properly apparently when I put it up.
