whats the correct term for batwing styled coats?

i keep getting batman and attack of titan stuff

Does anyone use meilishuo to help them look for stuff on taobao? I haven't used it in awhile, but it seems like they've changed it so most if not all items no longer have a link to the taobao shop, and instead meilishuo has become a shopping site? I feel like I don't know how to use it anymore.

Anyone know where I could find these shoes and dresses? I'm hoping they're straight off of Taobao or if not, Taobao will at least have replicas of them.

Does anybody know a search term for 'bodycon' in Chinese?

My small taobao order just arrived in the mail, the R-Series stuff is nice, but I'm very disappointed with the little dipper skirts.

I ordered them in 3 colourways and got them custom sized to fit my waist of 65 cm. But when I tried them on today, they were falling off my waist, they literally sit on my hips now and it looks terribly awkward. I'm not sure how the sizing could get so terribly wrong, it's like 15 cm too big.
Did anyone experience similar issues with little dipper, especially the petticoats?
Also, is there a way I can make the skirts smaller? I have no sewing skills, so I can't do it myself, but would it be expensive to get it altered? I've been looking for skirts like this forever, so I'd really like to find a way to make them fit before considering selling.

Different anon, but I found them fine. I think after the fact I realised that the gathering could be more even, but other than that, the ruffles are even with no frayed edges, and all edges are finished. The fabric is a light chiffon that's sort of... fluffy for a lack of better word. Due to the gathering issue, they could drape better, but they're pretty fluffy. I sometimes use them as a second petti actually.

I also wrote a review before with more pictures. Unfortunately, I lost my hard drive so sorry about that.

That was also my impression - that Taobao was cheap unique fashion pieces you wont find easily elsewhere without paying a bucketload in a niche store in the city.

I'm aware of the jacked up exchange rate, despite the claim in the email (unless they are meaning the best exchange rate for themselves with the rate stuck at 4.75 per AUD despite it being better now) but overall, unlike an order made in Taobaoring where it totals to $60 only, at least I'm seeing once and for all how much I'm going to shell for all that (pun intended :D)

I have the dark angel ones (from ebay). I don't even have fat legs but yeah they are most suitable for very thin legs.. For me they stretch a lot and print is barely recognisable anymore while I am wearing them. Color of the tights is really weird, like white on the inner side and dark on the outer side, so when they stretch the white kinda..takes over and print looks really messy and awful. Might take pics later but I personally don't recommend the dark ones unless you have super skinny toothpicky legs

I have the original Grimoire tights bought directly from their Japan webshop. It is the stained glass one and the print is exactly like what you described. It is white inside and dark outside therefore once it stretched the color becomes lighter.

Interesting to know that the knock-off is similar in that way. I don't know how much worse they are as compared to the original.

If the quality of the fake one is acceptable I want to get the kitty one.

I ordered a dress directly from Krad Lanrete (because I have an address in Taiwan and an Alipay account), but I'm getting kind of confused with how the shipping works. It says something about it here:

It sounds like you shouldn't purchase the shipping listing. Did you try choosing SF over the default KD when purchasing the dress? unfortunately the best thing to do is PM them on aliwangwang. I heard that KL is kinda uncommunicative and they don't have good customer service, but i think you're covered by alipay and the worst that could happen is that you'll be refunded. I'm still experimenting with how to buy from TB without an SS and I've not produced any results yet, just lurking some singaporean forums and reading them talk about it. I have no actual experience doing this so maybe my information is wrong. Since you seem to have some connections in Taiwan you should ask some Taiwanese about it.

I got some tops from there. The cotton ones wrinkle if you sneeze at them, but are otherwise actually quite decent under JSKs. I also bought the college style bow blouse, which is quite nice for the price and the cheapest of its kind I've found so far on taobao.

Just try not to go for the ones that look like cutsews with cheap lace - they actually came out worse than I thought. Still all right for casual wear, but truly shitty quality for lolita.

Does anyone know of reliable stores for cutsews and blouses that would work great for otome?

It really is too fucking big though and pettis actually are supposed to sit at the waist and not the hips because that way the weight of the petti itself would pull it down, like the little dipper pettis do it in my case. The skirts are so heavy, I can't even move in them or otherwise they would slide down even further and fall off my hips.

Huh. I have the same problem to an extent but I usually treat it as an underskirt and wear another petti under it. The petti buoys it up, so I don't have a problem when I put the skirt above it.

The quality is fine for that price. The fabric is really soft. There are a few loose threads and some weird sewing at some places but overall the sewing seems nice and durable. It's not like the skirts will fall apart or anything after wearing them for a few times. The skirts are very heavy though, so you have to layer them in order to make them more fluffy.

I also took a few pictures of the skirts if you need some closer views of the construction (turned out too big, I had to upload them manually).

My suggestion: take a thick string. Poke a small hole in the waistband and thread the string (or ribbon) all the way through. Create a drawstring. It will be easier than a real alteration and since it is an underskirt it won't matter if there is a small hole with a bow.
I personally would stick a grommet on the hole or whip stitch the edges to prevent fraying.

Basically, there's 3 sleeve options. The difference is the level of extravagance and amount of lace on the sleeves. Option 1 is the most extravagant. That Baidu page had pictures of what exactly the 3 options were, but it doesn't appear to be working anymore. I believe the one in the model pictures is option 3, and the one on the dream form is option 1. Option 2 is somewhere in the middle, but I can't remember the exact details off hand.

said items were then declared Out Of Stock, according to Happy Buy. ok. fine. that's happened before. lots of times.

1) building an order

9) exchange 3 emails to confirm that they are purchasing the correct item. Happy Buy finally agrees that the original listed price is correct, and the amount I originally paid was correct
10) happy buy declares that the items for that order are Out Of Stock
11) cancel items. cost of items and shipping is returned
12) submit all items in my warehouse to happy buy for delivery
13) happy buy tells me that they lost some of my items
14) reorder said items. happy buy states items bought.
15) add some knick knacks again (same ones as before. different seller.
16) happy buy says items are out of stock
17) cancel items from said seller whose items happy buy says are out of stock
18) domestic shipping cost charged for the knick knacks is not returned to my balance.

I used to live in California and would make big orders from China all the time. I recently moved and my package went through NY. Nothing brand name or even close, just very basic black clothing. It got shipped back to TBS. I had my agent check over the package to make sure a seller didn't include any gifts that couldn't be shipped. No issues found, and I had it sent to another address in Japan.

It depends what the item is. If it's a popular one, they'll probably restock in a few weeks or so. But if it's an item that took a few months to sell out, they probably won't bother and focus on more wanted items.

My order just came today! Everything's surprisingly good quality.
I played for my order on the 13th, it shipped out on the 16th and arrived two days ago on the 21st. Unfortunately because I weather I wasn't able to pick it up from the post office until today.
I'm very pleased with everything. all of the wigs are very soft and very good quality. The cosplay wigs especially are very thick.
I can take pictures/review anything if anyone wants.

They're pretty nice quality for the price. They're pretty big, about 3 inches in diameter, 2 1/2 inches tall. They're made out of plastic, but it's a very thick, sturdy plastic.
There's two alligator clips on the bottom hot glued on.
The plush part of the crown is very nice and soft.
One of the crowns came with the top part slightly loose, but it's not going to fall apart or anything
Overall I'd give them a 4.5/5

I'm pretty pleased with this bag. It feels very sturdy and the design is printed on very nicely. You can't fit too much in it, and it doesn't really open up very much. I broke one of the clasps to the strap while putting it on, but it's still completely usable.
Overall I'd say it's a 4/5
