The Antique Clock dress is back again. Guess I have to prepare to see a bunch of "coords" with this dress again.
I don't think I've ever seen this dress pulled off very well, though I've seen so many pictures of girls wearing it.

I'm going to put this print in for the Bodyline contest after I revamp it a little bit.

I'm already planning on making it a bit more pastel and adding some more stuff in it to make it more eyecatching.

The original concept was "dreamy decapitation" but I'm thinking of changing it to "eerie dollmaker" to make it more palatable lol

What kind of items should I add into the image?

I've seen this amazing coord of the gray/black, black blouse, leather corset, clock tights, clock bag and black boots with beautifully short black hair with a braid band in it. Can't find the pic but damn made me double take, was an amazing coord. ALSO saw a plus size loli wear the blueish colorway with blonde hair and brown shoes, looked stunning.

What do these girls honestly have to lose though? I had plans for black and also for a sort of blue color like what AP generally uses(pic related) it's not a dark navy but I liked the contrast. Also possibly mint and lavender. Color changing takes 2 minutes of simple adjusting so any other colors can be requested.

Sorry again for the incomplete design, I'm probably going to put a cute decorative cake slice for the next food and maybe a cute glass of fizzy pink soda.

Instead of a deer skull I thought they might want something more cutesy so if anyone wants to try to make this work a lot better then go for it. I don't know how to switch the colors because I doubt fawns in ornate frames wouldn't look too good in black.

I love the Holy Lantern-esque design we have (should we make a name for it?) since it's simply and can be made into any style whether Gothic, Sweet, or Classic...

Could we get a few Gothic designs going?

Also, pic related, I wish there was an eerie design with stylized eyes, but I doubt BL would do anything like that... Even if it was cutified, I'd probably like it though. So I totally encourage someone to do eye things, yes?

I have no idea what the fabric is like actually. I never got the dresses because I didn't feel like paying the shipping for dresses I wouldn't wear. I was more of an admirer and wanna-be designer back then, rather than wearing.

I've seen a couple posts on tumblr with this design of the same print and they didn't look shiny to me.


Anyway, if you win they will tell you before the contest is announced. Make sure you have really large, high quality images on file if you're doing an intricate design.
