To start off, I'd like to know places to find the cute face masks you see a lot online. I've managed to find a few on ebay, but the selection is really small.

On a similar note, where to buy hairclips with decoration irl that aren't hot-glued together and fall apart as soon as you put them on, anyone?

I feel like the style's changed a lot, from mostly solid color themes (especially pinks/reds) to really vibrant, rainbow colors. I still like it a lot, but it's also refreshing to see people who still pull off the older look too.

This is my favorite decora girl, I've never seen anyone as cute as her in it!
I really wish I knew who she was, she's absolutely adorable.
Also if anyone knows who she is I'd love to know, if she has some sort of blog I'd definitely follow it.

I think the hardest part is learning to balance your accessories and stuff at first, to be honest. But it's a lot of fun to wear! I went out in it once with some friends, and an older woman actually pulled over to ask for a picture because her child adored Hello Kitty (and I was decked out in it). Things like that make up for the weird looks everyone else gives you, really...

also for the anons asking about hair clips, i think it would be easier to just buy a bunch of packs of blank hair clips or bobby pins and hot glue some cabochons to them!

I don't normally like decora, but it's nice in an artsy way when there's a real color scheme to it. A lot just seems like they took every single clip, regardless of the color or shape, and stuck it all over them. I like coords like these ones:
