yeah pretty much. just think of making an inside out seam but only on the wrong side.
try drawing a line where you want the pin tucks to travel and then use masking tape to mark a seam allowance on your machine's free arm. Fold at the line you marked and line it up with the masking tape and run it through the machine. If you really wanted to, you could make piping with your excess material and just pattern your unitard so that the seams are where the pin tucks would be and sew the piping in in between the seams

I think she probably paid decent money for hers but had a doctor who doesn't understand size to body ratios or he did and Tata Han didn't listen.

She would have looked SO much better with a smaller cup size. Something nice and substantial that looked big when you needed them to and yet let you dress nicely and incognito when you wanted to.
