So I've finally begun Dangan Ronpa, and I've decided to cosplay Fukawa, but I've already hit a bit of a snag. Her uniform. I can't decide what colour it is. Sometimes I feel like it looks navy, sometimes it looks black. Opinions?

I think we should make a list of Dangan Ronpa cosplayers like the Homestuck one. Everyone always says it'd be the same list but I don't think so as the HS cosplayers split off into a lot of different fandoms, and I'm pretty sure there's cosplayers for DR that weren't popular HS cosplayers or into it at all.
Who would you put on the list? Would it be tiered? I know I'm not the only one interested. Obviously Cifera would be on it, but who else?

Her Peko cosplay is good, but the pale skin and red eyes on her didn't do it for me.

squishy has a really pretty face and her cosplays are great even though I only see few. Also the fact that she was a homestuck and then went to dangan ronpa and didnt make shitty cosplays is a plus.

That's what I hate about the homestuck tier list - at first it really felt like a good list of prominent cosplayers but people started trying to get themselves or their friends 'noticed' by getting onto 'rookie tier', and most new cosplayers just got same/friendfagged the hell out of - making them look like attention whores whether it was actually them or not. ceres - really great Junko, one of the only ones worth looking at in the western fandom, terrible peko wig.
aircalibur - their kuzuryuu was pretty good, and their Aoi is one of my favorites since they actually look fit and their costume is entirely accurate, the only thing I didn't like was the wig iirc.
squishyblob - good Kirigiri but that's about it.
vantasticmess - fantastic Mondo (but their wig was too straight?)

fattogami - someone who gets by more on their sewing skills than looks? I remember really liking their Celes costume shape and proportions, and then being jelly of the shoes.

Do you think it would be stupid to make a pattern for junkos skirt and have it printed at spoonflower and use that? I've been looking everywhere for something good but most plaid patterns just don't seem to fit her skirt or have green in it or something stupid like that and its driving me crazy! or should we just leave it plain red?

Some are drawn because theyre attention whores and want people to know who theyre cosplaying, so by cosplaying the big antagonist, they'll be well known

I bought a Kirigiri outfit off taobao that has the same stock images as some off the ones on ebay (the one where the jacket looks to have a bit more of a shine), it came way shiner than expected also way lighter purple. I would have been alright with it being kinda shiny and darker, like the images-- that's basically what I wanted, but yeah no would not recommend that one. Although, it did fit me like a glove (I had custom measurements) and I really liked the shirt/tie/skirt. Looking back, I'm not sure what I was thinking. If it looks that shiny in the stock photos, it ain't gonna be less shiny in person. Lesson learned.

Nah i wouldn't blame tumblr for this, this is entirely on them. I met them at a convention and after adding them they started linking me nudes and stuff. im not even sure if they post their nudes publicly though. i just know theyre 15 at the moment.
