I once cosplayed a princess, and had a character within that same universe ask if they could get a picture slipping my shoe onto my foot (ala prince charming). I thought it was cute, and agreed. The part I was not prepared for was the guy kissing my foot as he did it, rubbing at it and commenting on how soft my feet were/how nice my manicure made my feet look.

To each his own, but... I get creeped out when non-willing participants are drawn into stuff like that. It may just be past experiences talking, though.

While you'd have to be retarded to wear a cosplay(skanky or not) and not realize that there's a decent chance your photo will be fapped to at least once(unless it's bad and you're ugly), generally cosplayers don't want pictures taken for the purpose of such.

I'm a male with a foot fetish, and I'm pretty open about it with the girls that I date.

I've found that a large minority of girls will admit that they actually like to have their feet be paid attention. As for the rest--I would say that the majority don't really care--or maybe think it's cute, but don't actually get off on it. Another large minority is actively repulsed by it.

Honestly, in my personal case there's a few reasons
- I have terrible facial recognition so I never realize it's him unless someone actually said so or he was in the act of taking pictures of the bare feet
- I feel there's no real argument for stepping in unless the girl was clearly underage; in the case that I saw an obvious small girl I would of course say/do something, but his most common targets are 14 year olds and hell I know 20 year olds who look younger than some 14 year olds.

To those confused as to why girls let him do this, why they don't stop shooting with him, etc., some context:
- The girls who shoot with him are either teenagers, or the slutty types with low self esteem. VERY FEW have good costumes.
- These girls are therefore the types who would rarely get the opportunity to do private shoots, let alone private shoots with any halfway decent photographer.
- They continue coming back to him because hey, free photos!
- They don't seem to mind being objectified, either because they're young and naive or THAT desperate for attention/photos.
- Many cosplayers DO move on from shooting with him, either due to discomfort or peer pressure to stop hanging out with someone the rest of the community has branded a huge fucking weirdo. Some finally start giving a shit about their reputation or what kind of photos they have online. I have plenty of friends who might've shot with him or done some of his video stuff when he just did convention coverage with a small side of "pretending to be stuck in glue" schtick, which at the time came off as just some funny but slightly weird thing he did before he went full-blown shameless fetish photographer. Almost none of them will shoot with him now, at least if they have any self-respect. As both a working photographer and a model I find this thread to be very black and white. People seem to assume something is fetish or not. Pervert or normal. Wrong or right. These are the kind of ignorant assumptions that lead creative people to pigeonholing themselves into never getting shoots done. You don't want to shoot in your bare feet then dont. You feel someone has posted photos of you that you arent comfortable with, ask them to take them down. But judging a photographer that shoots with people that isn't you is frankly none of your business.
And to the model who shoots with that one guy and wants the benifits of a FREE photographer but doesnt want the one she has...GROW THE FUCK UP. Your cosplays might be improving but your attitude sucks and I actively try to avoid such childish behavior.

And as for feet...I could take or leave it...I;ve been barefoot in shoots and shot people in bare feet before. My only reason for not cracking out my bare feet in public is if they may be dirty/smelly.
