Namco High might be what finally gets me to bring out TZ again. I washed out all of the product in my wig the last time I wore the costume (Fanime '12), and I'm wondering if I should restyle it back to the Hussie sketch style it was in before, or if I should change it to how Lexxy draws it. Hmmm.

Id say, in this case, go for the new design. If it was something from the comic, going for Hussie style would probably be better, but it's not so it's probably best to go with the art form Namco High.

I know this might be weird of me, but I kinda tie attractiveness and costume quality together, so if I can find a flaw (even a nitpicky one) they seem less attractive.

Though, I guess I can say Cifera, JJ, and the Vriska from Cowbuttcrunchies are all decently cute, even if I do think they might need some work. Also Hanyaan is pretty, though not so much as a homestuck.

How much does a long Arda wig shed? I'm working with two of them right now and just gentle brushing with a wide tooth comb is pulling out a ton of hair. Is this a fact of life for long wigs or am I fucking something up?

The Vriska from CBC is Gothichamlet, I believe. I think her and Cifera are two of the most attractive HS cosplayers, or in Cifera's case, former HS cosplayer. Don't know who Hanyaan is.

I used to, but I sadly don't anymore, Basically though, there's a sparkle mesh fabric at Joanns (it kind of looks like webbing - not your usual tulle/netting) that you cut out in the shape of the wing. Then you cut out the darker details of the wing and spraypaint them a darker color and sew them on with invisible thread. Then you put right sides together, put inside out, shove the wire frame in, then whip-stitch around the frame with invisible thread.

I do have these easyclip things (polarized lenses that clip onto the glasses via magnet) that come with mine

I have one and it's actually pretty fun and since it doesn't shoot anything but air, you can trust kids not to fuck each other up with it.

I like these ones because you can clearly tell they're Homestuck, and not just because of the horns/body paint. I think when you do this type of AU, you really have to pay attention to colours and designs (think, "would this character wear this, giving their lifestyle in the comic?").

ok so, i need some advice. about a year ago i used to run an ask irl *insert character blog* it was alright. had about 380 followers. but then my interest in homestuck lingered and i abandoned it. i just came back to it to find i still have 125 followers. i still love the character i cosplayed and im thinking f bringing the blog back and even roleplaying as him again. i wasnt the best cosplayer of the character compared to others but people still enjoyed my interpretation of him. i need some advice on bringing this blog back and attracting some followers again.
