If you look, you can see the panels of the pleats are shaped like trapeziums, so just pattern your skirt around that. Pleating a circle skirt might work.

Suggestions for fabric on Gundam's jacket?

I'm very new to sewing, so I think I'll make a mock-up with the cheapest fabric I can find. Once I make the real one, what should I go for? ...twill? That's thick, right? I really want something with some bulk to it, I'm planning on having stiff interfacing to make it not as floppy as a lot of Gundam jackets I've seen. Also, for the inside red lining, I was thinking red satin using the reverse side.

Once someone asked me to make them an ibuki wig after they saw the wips for mine and well... The price of materials for my wig cost ~100 dollars and I would want compensation for the hours of labor as well, so I would charge someone ~150 give or take depending on how many hours went into it
I just looked and the ebay wig only cost 50 dollars. I can see someone buying this wig because its cheap and... MAYBE has potential if you took the horns off and made new ones and styled it a lot but don't wear it out of the bag!

I've cosplayed with her too, and roleplayed as well. It's rather fun to go LARPing as a group, I admit it's a bit dorky but it's more fun than only doing shoots at cons. A lot of people roleplay characters on Tumblr, I don't know if you realize this but when you roleplay you take on the persona of said character. Anyways, that's just my piece, I just see a lot of vendetta against her and I think that someone needs to get a life. If you think she's so bad, why are you wasting your time badmouthing her?
