questions about milk from the (other) milk thread, that was deleted

>i've been wondering for the longest time about milk's bags. how well do they hold heavy stuff like bottled drinks and laptops?

>Questions! I love their heart bags but the price is slightly hard to justify since they're pleather. How hardy would you say they were, how stiff is the heart shape, and how durable is the handle and zipper? I have a knockoff from taobao that's supposed to be the same size and shape, it carries tons and is my favourite bag, but the handle bends away at the base really easily and the pointy bit of the heart is very damaged and bended from resting on chairs and whatnot. I realllyyy want to buy a real one, but I wear through bags really fast.

>how do milk clothing fare in quality overall? i always assumed it's on the same "tier" as fint, but i have not bought any milk yet. how would you compare milk to the other brands? also are their prints crisp or blurry and pixelated because i'm about to bid on my first milk onepiece on mbok.

I have a mini heart from milk so I can't say for sure, but I wouldn't put a laptop in anything other than a straight up backpack from a company known for hardy bags. It just seems like a guaranteed heartbreak and waste of money.
As far as I can tell, the heart shape is fairly robust as long as you don't put anything in that's so heavy as to warp it. The handles on your bag warp/bend because there is too much weight concentrated on a small area.

Im really careful with my bags and generally have like my phone, wallet, random small shit (makeup gum etc) and then maybe a notebook and pen or whatever in my heart bag. I dont really carry much stuff around in it, but its kept its shape and the handles arent warped at all. But like the other anon said, if you add more weight they could get warped.

FYI, tried cramming my laptop in my bag, doesnt fit. got a 13" macbook pro. Besides, too heavy. Bottled stuff is a-okay though!

Yeah and that's not what that dress is even called
ETC doesn't name their dresses, but a better and more commonly-used name for that one is Chocolate and Deer JSK. There aren't even any rabbits on it. Anywhere. What the fuck man.

I want this. I might just make one of my own, give it a nicer shape. I think it fits better with otome than lolita at any rate.

According to preference and quality:
1. Jane Marple and ETC
2. Milk
3. Axes Femme
4. Amavel (haven't checked them out to be honest)

I have some milk jsks. The prints are lovely, but I'm not thrilled by the quality. They feel cheap/fragile and are simpler than ETC or JM. Also shorter!

3. axes femme
4. Jane Marple
5. Milk

>Quality:
1. Jane Marple
2. ETC
3. Amavel and Milk are about on-par
4. axes femme

Amavel is a relatively unknown brand in Japan and even more so in the West, though. But it's very high quality for the price!
axes femme is still nice quality for what you pay, but can be kind of hit and miss sometimes. The items I own are all very nice, but I bought them in person, so I was able to really examine things first.

So are you more likely to wear your lolita dresses out in public as full lolita or are you more likely to tone it down into an otome outfit?

I just de-pettify what I would wear otherwise, unless the dress is printless and plain which then I use a small petti.

I rarely wear my lolita dresses in an otome coord. They just don't look right with smaller pettis. I have a couple of lolita dresses that work well as an otome piece, but most of them just don't look right. Pic related, it's one of the loli pieces that I can wear as otome (but to be honest it doesn't look amazing in a lolita coord)

I usually wear full lolita but I also wear lolita elements (blouses, socks, shoes etc) in otome coords from time to time
