The average woman in the us is a size 14, and the common height is around 5'6".

Not that the size means shit here because it could be anything from a 12 to an 18 with a size 14 tag on it. Sizes are so inconsistent between manufacturers. Maybe they went by what most commonly is a size 14.
But the point is, no, chubby is not average sized here - it's not more common than the normal sized people, so of course it's not average.

I wouldn't expect for a foreigner to understand something like this because everyone jokes about america being full of fat people with their burgers, so if you are then cool you just learned something new. If you live here, however, you're super ignorant.

Not that anon, but it's likely heavy as fuck, and with all the weight concentrated in the back, without shit tons of pins holding it in place, it'd probably slide right off. So the weight of the wig plus the stress on her scalp from the pins pulling on her hair/wig cap, I can imagine it being painful or at least bothersome.

Then they see someone mention a weight and flip out because that may be a large amount for their height, but as you said. Not everyone is the same height. Plus, what if it's not fat, what if they have a lot of muscle mass? Always things to consider.

I'm 5'6". If I were 130 I would be underweight. I have lingered around there before, it's not pretty.

Even weight can vary a lot. I can't remember the site itself, but it's where you can look at photos of people at different heights/weights. The variation is incredible - It took me like 15 minutes of searching to find someone whose body looked even remotely similar to mine. It just depends on how and where you hold your weight. Some people who have perfectly average/middle-range weights look quite chubby if they hold a lot of fat at their waist, arms, or face. Others can look very thin at the same weight, if they're weight is more muscular or concentrated in less-visible places (like thighs/butt/hips)

I'm 5'9" and 130 lbs, which means my BMI 19.2. While you can just barely see the shadows of my ribs and hip bones, it's not underweight in the least (125 lbs is underweight for my height). I just really can't see someone at 5'6" being considered underweight at 130 lbs.
