More fans! I wish you guys were around when I had started playing 9:9:9 originally, since it was virtually impossible to convince my friends to get into it (they were more console gamers than handheld).

Weirdly enough, my dad got me into Gravity Rush first and said that he'd actually support me cosplaying Kat, haha. He usually doesn't care much for lolita / cosplay, so it was really nice to hear that from him. If I can figure out her bodysuit, I'd totally do her outfit in the summer, but I'm not much good with patterns.

I got into 999 on the recommendation of a friend and my boyfriend. I also got VLR on sale with some birthday money, and was told that playing 999 first would make it better. This was good advice.
I haven't played Gravity Rush myself as I don't have a Vita, but I had a go on my boyfriend's game and I liked it a lot, especially the character design.
Kat's suit looks a lot more complicated than it probably is, but it's the leg swirly things that have me stumped. Best of luck with it!

The way I interpreted Kat's suit was as a strapless, tight-fitting romper, and I'd install an invisible zipper in the back / on the side, but I have no idea if this would actually work, haha. My sewing skills are admittedly basic at best, and it's been forever since I've put anything together. As far as her leg pieces, I just figured I'd build off of a wire frame, but I have no clue what material would be best to cover it at all. My main worry with cosplaying Kat is that I look godawful as a blonde, but I think her hair would be golden enough for me to work with.

This past year at fanime a big group of my friends pulled together a 999 group. We ran into a big VLR group and it was a lot of fun! I guess I can tell you from experience only a handful of people recognized what we were from, but the few people who did made it worth while. 999/VLR fans are some of the most amazing people.

I'v been making a skaven warlock engineer. I love the horror/mutant monster thing and warhammer did a good job (I feel) on fleshing out skaven culture and just seems fun. I wanted something to really test out my crafting skills and thought something non-human would really let me create.

My biggest fear, is that I'll be mistaken for a furry. I just want to be a monster. I dont even care if no one knows what its from, as long as they dont think I'm yiffing around or some shit. Hoping the horror elements I add to it will steer people away from that thought.

I would love to see Psycho Pass cosplayers here, especially with dominators. You would be mistaken for literally any other suit wearing detective doing the majority of the cast without a group though, Kagari and and getting the wig right would make it less likely for you to get mistaken but even then it'd probably happen. I can easily see Ko getting mistaken for older Hibari from Reborn (or even Yamamoto) as Amano seemed to just recycle his design.

It's not that obscure of a series, being Urobutchi written and with the way it attracts fujoshi.

Dark Could 2 is the superior game. Dark Cloud might have had more characters, but most of them were either useless or 1 dimensional gimmick characters. They did good to downside the amount of playable characters in favor of giving the two main characters more depth in their gameplay.

I've wanted to do Kurosawa from ONK for a while, but it's the sort of thing where almost no one will recognize you, but if they do it's super awkward.

This is just the START! try not to judge too hard yet. adding more teeth and a screen inside so hide my eyes from being seen. The sculpy isnt painted yet on the eyes or teeth either, but I'm going for it. Have movable jaw for talking and everything. Besides another friend (who made her discover Akibaranger) and myself (who made that other friend discover Akibaranger) only one person recognized. Not that there weren't... Raikoh from the shamefully overlooked Otogi series. Its one of my personal missions in life to make a damn good costume of this guy, torn between either his battle-worn rusted armor from the first game, or his clean white version in the second. Either way once I have time and money I want to make either, and as for his traditional sword I want to make the Moon-Light blade famously featured in the King's Field Series as one of the props to complete the costume, since you can get it in both games.

I'd love to do Pelleas, but I think the amount of effort on all those layers wouldn't be worth it.
