Just got a job, so celebrated by bidding on an eBay auction I’d been watching, and won. They were a set – I don’t really want the headband so I might attempt to trade it for another brand hair accessory (but I’ve never traded before so kind of nervous!). In addition, trying to buy a really old Meta dress. For the headdress... As much as I hate linking it to her, the headdress is from the indie korean brand Lief. It's from the Angela Stella Series and I had to purchase mine from One Day in Paradise. My friend contacted Lief directly and they said that they were sold out for direct distribution, so I think that's the last place you can get it (or from Ergi if you live in Europe).

I think you should focus on shoes and a petti because if you don't have either then you won't have much of a lolita outfit. Plus there's nothing worse than having pretty dresses and nothing to wear them with.
Getting them won't be too much of a hassle anyway. Bodyline is always pretty decent for shoes and victoriangirldress on ebay is great for pettis.

Alright, here we go.

I bought mine from Ebay, with the price of the shopping service, it was about the same to get it from Taobao, and ebay was just easier, so I paid the extra bit for it. It arrived in about 3 weeks from China to the USA.

The skirt is definitely of better quality than the blouse. I actually ordered that sailor sweater because I don't like how the blouse sits. It might be my thin frame, but it's a bit bulky, and a little bit see through. I just wear a white tank under it.

The skirt is pleated wonderfully, there are no loose threads anywhere, it's absolutely beautiful. There's a 4 inch zipper on the side which is covered by the ties when you tie them. The buttons are securely sewn on, and as expected, it runs a tiny bit small because it IS asian sized. I usually wear XS and I ordered the S.

The straps are a little long for me, I just pinned them shorter, but there are two settings secured with buttons on the inside of the waist. There is NO stretch at all, so if you've got a booty, you might have trouble getting it up.

The blouse, as I said is somewhat seethrough. I sprayed it down with fabric softener and put it in the dryer to get the wrinkles out. It wrinkles very easily. The buttons are well attached, but the buttons and ribbons on the arms and collar are BLACK, not navy. The bows sit a little funny, but you can see that in the pic.

The hat is... well the hat is a wreck. I would suggest NOT ordering the hat. It was crushed when it arrived, and I can't get the wrinkles out. It has long ribbon ties in the back, but the hat itself is really big. The bow on it is detachable. I ended up just taking it off and putting it onto a hairclip instead.

Overall, the uniform part is DEFINITELY worth it, even if just for the skirt. It would look great with just a plain white blouse or another sailor blouse as well. Great craftsmanship on it. The hat I would skip as it's easily wrinkled, not easily unwrinkled, and gigantic.

Happened to me before, don't worry anon. Find out where it was delivered, on which day, at what time, by which mailman. Find out who they delivered it to, go to the address and/or call the phone number. That's the best thing about lost packages, physical location + real name + phone number. Also knock on neighbour's door to see if they got it, or if you live in an apartment the same apartment number in another block.

Very happy to get one of my dream dresses though - AP original print JSK from their lucky packs back in 2010. Kind of a silly print for a dream dress and I just spent quite a bit this month, but I didn't want to pass it up again.

On the other hand, I've had stuff pass through in a week and a half.

Usually, if there's any bits of metal in it (zippers, buckles, etc.) it can take a long time.

I'm a guy and I love these dresses, they are like victorian or something old with lots of details.
So what do you girls dressing up in these like on guys that is in the same style? Could you direct me to any?

Update: I got the jacket in, it's actually really nice.

Except, they do run in tiny asian sizes, I ordered an XL for my boyfriend who's usually a medium, and it's a perfect fit. The buttons / snaps lay a little funny, but it's well-made, and it's actually fairly warm. It's like a sweatshirt, though, not an actual letterman jacket.

dunno if someone's already reviewed it but im very satisfied. just a bunch of loose threads here and there, otherwise the fabrics quite nice and the embroidery is great. i just wish it were longer on my 5'4 stature, length is kinda too flirty for erryday wear, probably will reserve it for formal occasion or TFW i ever go on a nice date

My Mojo Moxy wine Shoes, Baroque Skirt, JetJ parasol, and Millefleurs dress came!

I am really pleased with the quality of everything, especially the Baroque skirt since I have heard their quality can be iffy.

Got my package today. The Angelic pretty gelato OP is amazingly cute. The Liz Lisa lucky pack was deffinatley worth the money I got a coat, shirt skirt and a dress and they were all in their induvidual packaging with tags.

I went into the store expecting to get the Caravaggios everyone loves, but when I felt the rough texture of the leather in real life I was a bit turned off from them. I spotted these on the way in and the glossiness really caught my eye, and they were much more comfortable to walk in than I expected, so I was sold. I'm waiting on my size to be shipped in from one of the other stores since they didn't have it in that color.

How have yours held up? They don't scuff easily, do they? That's my only concern about the heel varnish.
