From the info in the other thread, she didn't do the illustrations, someone else did. All the same, still a hideous design, but I'm not sure she's the one to blame for the name going under the baby's head or the other layout choices.

My interpretation of the narrative of the print is that headless baby got knocked up, performed abortion with safety pin, and is now pooping out embryos in the toilet. There are infinite babies because she has done this many times (she is a promiscuous and foolhardy baby). Baby's folly means she is doomed to repeat this infinitely, like an abortion Prometheus.

I dunno, I've seen plenty of lolitas who have amazing sewing skills make some really well constructed dresses with the most god awful prints on them. You can have great sewing skills without having great taste.

I don't get how so many indie designers come up with such horrible prints. It's like they've never seen a brand print dress before and have nothing to compare to. I really genuinely don't understand how so many horrible designs are made into dresses and their creators expect them to be sold? If you're putting all this effort into finding a fabric printer, designing the dress itself, investing money into the whole thing, how do you let the print design process go so poorly and expect people to like it? This baffles me.

I hope she sells it to the same brolita dude who bought the Cone of Shame set. That would make my day.

This at least looks like the person who made it was sane. I don't think the idea or direction of sugary bones was bad, it was just poorly executed and printed badly (those bows, ugh!)

OP's image is horrifying. The idea is bad, the design is poor, the colors, style, and cut are terrible. But the print is just awful and looks like it should come with a matching pacifier.

Ok hows this sound: dark silhouetted trees along the border of the skirt, clothesline like ropes strung between, with simple, creepy dolls of different shapes in dark colors hanging from it. Definitely pushes it from ew creepy to cool creepy. Keep the images dark, simple, and mostly siklhouette.
