Gotta disagree. Genderbending doesn't always have to do with "too lazy to crossplay", some people just don't have the angular face or body for it to pass nicely, even with makeup. A creative and well executed genderbend, group or alone, is always pretty cool to see imo.

a lot of nasty people were at youmacon, actually. when i was chiaki i ecperienced the most amount of creeps i ever had, people were outright saying really uncomfortable things to a friend who wasbcosplaying junko, and the same friend who got spoiled by that monobear apparently recieved really nasty comments while cosplaying kirigiri. and a girl i know who was celes was told to sit differently on tje lightup walkway because people were taking pictures up her and her friends skirts from below
tldr fuck that monobear and youmacon was packed full of creeps. its a pretty convention and i had fun with my friends, but it seemed like a lot of the rest of the people were either fourteen yearbolds like the monobear or creeps.

There's a large influx of people coming from fandoms where buying parts of the cosplay and just painting them/dyeing them the right color is easier. you could always just follow the route of making actual hair horns, theres tutorials for that online, howeverrrrrr they will most likely end up pretty small and not big like her actual horns... i was considering going down that route but theyd end up so tiny :(

So I was ironing on the symbol on Naegi's hoodie, and the end result looked great. The only problem was I ironed it on upside down. Anyone know any ways to remove printable iron ons? I've got some of it off right now, but I have a lot left to do.

ok so heres a shitty picture of my wig i took this weekend lmao i was supposed to have it done buuut i can give you a basic rundown of what i did for the bangs and everything you see there so you can get started at least??
my base wig is jareth long in raven from arda. it was probably a bad idea to get that because this thing is CRAZY THICK and it confused me a bit as i cut it but at any rate no matter what base wig you get youre gonna end up cutting a triangle into the area where the original wigs bangs are that goes back to the crown of the wig. you know the spot where all the fibers seem to originate??? there lmao
so you literally justbwhack that that off till you see the netting. you really dont want little hairs sticking up so cut down as farvas you can!!
then yiu just take your blue and pink wefts on in three seperate rows. the pink strips should be cut smaller than the blue ones. i sewed the blue ones on first but that was a bad idea definitely just like start at the bottom and sew the pink blue pink in rows dont do one cokor then another!!! then if you can see the tracks of the wefts you just sewed in use tacky glue (DONT USE HOT GLUE ON YOUR WIG) and gently glue and place some clippings in the right color
then dont forget the white parts on the sides of the bangs! sew in a bunch of long white wefts to the sides and layer them and flip em out!
i bought short wefts in raspberry and midnight blue and long wefts in raven and white! i hope this helps!

I plan on stubbing the wig as well ( we'll how well that goes @_@)
The wefts that i bought where short wefts in what i remember to be either hot pink or raspberry and electric blue, and then a long weft of silver

I did actually, at the time i wasn't thinking, but since i'm going to be stubbing the wig i should have enough for them (if not then i'll just buy some)
But yeah i was considering buying a different wig, but the wig itself (despite being super long) is not that heavy, so i was planning (after cutting and separating section) adding in the volume through heat and hairspray. (that's mostly the only part of the wig i'm confident about, but i'm sure i'll be able to manage)
