I went to a panel hosted by Grey DeLisle and I got a picture with her afterwards. She was really sweet.

I met Stan Lee by accident at the San Diego Comic Con once

Then there's the time Sonny Strait came up to me at Youmacon only to bitch about one of the places in the food court being closed, like I could fix that somehow.

No personal photos, but I met Yoshiki at Otakon 2007. I stopped to use the bathroom before the masquerade, was washing my hands, and noticed a well-dressed Japanese man using the sink at the other end. His style reminded me a bit of early-2000s Gackt, so I asked him in Japanese if he was a Gackt cosplayer. He said, "No. I am Yoshiki," I apologized for the mix-up, and he walked out.

An hour later, when he walked on stage in front of 7,000 people in the First Mariner Arena before the start of the masquerade, I realized that I had insulted one of Otakon's biggest guests of honor and one of the most famous J-Rockers of all time.

Whoops.

It's happened a few times, lets see what I can remember

Met Jayne while I was dressed up as Zoe and talking to some friends. Saw Wash at his table.
Same with Kaylee and Inara but at a different con

Then ran into Ron Glass as he walked the floor as well. (pic related)

Been escort to Reuben Langdon while dressed as Dante. Don't know if that counts though.

I seem to think I met the slavic dude from Harry Potter. Dude was tall.

I ran into ZUN at AWA. Except I was dressed as a Pokemon that day instead of a 2hu that I was the other day. Such is life.

I got Q to flip off the camera while trying to the classic snap. Pretty proud of myself for that one. John De Lancie is a pretty cool guy, btw. Eh takes photos with nerds like us and doesn't afraid of anything.

I was in a Twi'lek costume being paid 8 dollars an hour (+15 flat for costume) to just stand around. Jason Schwartzman however was the ONLY person on set who know what I was. Much joy. Golden rule on set, do not talk to the actors unless they talk to you.

In like 2001 or something Kunihiko Ikuhara was at AZ with Chiho Saito because of Utena's popularity.

I went dressed as Anthy and Ikuhara said to me in English "You are very pretty."
I died a little.

Cosplayed as Seikichi from Oh! Edo Rocket at Fanime a few years back and both the director (Seiji Mizushima) and character designer (Takahiro Yoshimatsu) were there. They seemed pretty excited that there was an OER fan there. (I'm super excited in this picture because not only is this the character designer, but the character sheet he's holding up is the original DRAWN IN PENCIL sheet, holy shit.)

I met Dennis Rodman at AX like 6 years ago. He was drinking at one of the con hotel bars. I think I was in some tacky ita shit. Unfortunately my friend that had all photographic evidence promptly lost his camera the next day.

Dennis has a message for cosplayers though, "he gets this"

I think that's it for celebs I've met while cosplaying something relevant to them. I've met a ton of other celebs but not whilst cosplaying a character of theirs.

I cosplayed Jacket from Hotline Miami at Gamescom this year and met Dennis Wedin, one of the developers. Had a lot of fun and laughs talking about the game and played the Hotline Miami 2 demo.
I really had to struggle not to go full-fanboy, was a great day

Met Veronica Taylor while in my Leo cosplay, you can tell she wasn't proud of that role for the sheer fact it took her a minute or two to figure out who I was dressed as.

I got to meet Michael Sinterniklaas at AFO earlier this year in my GaoGaiGar. Our double hell and heaven attack is probably the highlight of my life.
