Seiyuu Sentai seems interesting, and a couple of the others look like they have interesting character designs but don't really seem like a show I'd be too into... So I guess I may cosplay from Seiyuu Sentai since that's probably going to be the only one I check out. Well, and Magi, but none of the characters jumped out to me in the first season as someone I'd want to cosplay.

I was going to say Ryuko's going to be the new pre-timeskip Yoko but that outfit might require a little more construction than what those people are used to.

Walkure Romanze has some solid designs and cgs based on what I've seen of the eroge, but I'm sure the adaptation will be poor(I rarely see good eroge to anime projects). I don't know much about Outbreak Company, but the designs are super cute, so I'll be watching that too I think.

Okay so I've been looking through varsity jackets and I pretty much can't find any made in the specific style of Ryuuko's jacket. Specifically, the collars don't go all the way down and the white part of the sleeve don't extend into the torso. Would it be okay to overlook these details? Jackets are not hard to make from scratch since they're loose-fitting and made of knit materials.

However, you need to have a good serger since tracksuits are generally not lined and access to proper rib knit fabric to match the cuffs and trim. Using generic knit for the cuffs/trim/collar works but looks ugly and inaccurate close-up.

I'm going to wait for the 6-week point at minimum before making any solid plans, but Kill la Kill and Kyokai no Kanata seem interesting for their outfits (ignoring how much I personally appreciate the series). Ignoring Kill la Kill because I can't stand it. Will be looking into Nagi no Asukara, liking the excecution so far and Yanagi Nagi singing the ED is just sweet. The turquoise and blue uniform is refreshing (pic related), though I don't think much people (including myself) can pull it off...

That being said I like Kill la Kill and think some of the character designs are cute but I already have some cosplays on my plate anyways. If I had to choose a new season show to cosplay from it would probably be Kyoukai no Kanata or Samurai Flamenco. Just because. The name is fucking Samurai Flamenco.

I'm 5'5" and about 135 lbs., currently getting in better shape, and I'm pretty sure I'd be perfect to do a Kuroko cosplay. So chances are I'll be doing that.

Plus I'd be hard-pressed to possibly ever find a more comfortable outfit to wear at a con.

I think she could do with some toning but it's fine as is but the detailing on this is so fucking terrible. That line down the back and the fact the red trim doesn't even line up with the edge of the skirt and the fact they didn't even try to hide the cardboard parts. I don't like the cheap vinyl shine either, it really does look like a trash bag.

That's what happens when you rush cosplays to be 'first'. Quality suffers. It could be really good if she took her time instead of slapping it together in 2 weeks.

How is it desperation? It's a cool sexy costume, and despite not being made of much, looks relatively challenging to pull off. I imagine if someone did make it well, they would have been doing it for a lot more than just attention. Really, you don't have to wear anything this complex and revealing to get attention, if that was all you wanted, there are tons of cheap and easy costumes you could do instead.
