im going to upcoming conventions as deadpool. i wanted to make him be more military looking in my personal take. im gonna be sewing a black pattern to the red lycra shirt that he has in the comics on the sides of his body and arms to give him a somewhat classic look to the top torso. any tips to making it look better?

I'd say get more red showing up on the costume. You've kinda got his color scheme a bit backwards - he's red with black bits, not black with red bits.

And honestly, it doesn't matter how serious or goof you'll act. You're going to be surrounded and/or followed by legions of teenagers who just know him as "LOL BURRITOS"
