But if you wanted them more similar to those AP gloves, I'de suggest searching something like 羊毛手套 (wool gloves - google translate, I don't speak Chinese so someone who does might know a better phrase) and finding a nice ribbon you like and attaching it yourself.

For the first wig in the top row, it actually came out to be a lot shorter than I thought it was. It was actually the shortest out of all the wigs which was unexpected and it's also thinner than the rest of the wigs which was also unexpected.

The next wig is EXACTLY as pictured. Like nothing is different at all. Color is spot on, shine is spot on, curl is spot on. I'm really impressed. Basically look at that picture and that's what I'm holding in my hand right now.

This wig I thought was light brown but turns out to be dirty blonde. It's a bit too light for me and I'm probably going to end up selling it but it's also very cute and soft and surprisingly thick.

This one I'm so disappointed with. The color is nothing like the picture. It is so much darker. There are no lighter streaks in it like you can see in the picture. Sad.

I was really hesitant about this wig when I brought it out of the box and saw it for the first time. It looked too short and too thin and when I initially was putting it on my original thought was that the wig cap was oddly shaped but I take that back now. This wig is exactly what I thought it was going to be. I put it on and it is quickly becoming my favorite wig the more I look at it. I don't know how I thought it was short before because now that it's on, the length seems true to picture, as does the thickness. Also the wig cap sits the most normally on my head out of any wigs I've ever owned (even some from this same seller oddly enough...so not sure if it's really a positive for this seller but definitely a positive for this wig). On other wigs, I often have this weird problem where it can bulge out or sit oddly at points and you can obviously tell it's a wig if I don't wear a hat or headband (coughluciellecough) but this one sits very naturally and I can easily see myself walking outside with just this on its own. The shine is also great but I expected that with my past experiences with this store. It's one of my more realistic ones. To be totally honest, it's on par with a few of the $50-100 wigs that I own (though I'm sure it probably won't last as long). But for the money, it's great. I love it. I'm so shocked I thought I'd hate it when it came out of the box. I couldn't have been more wrong.

This wig is great, just not for me. You really can't tell in the picture but it's much lighter and a lot more gray than pictured. It's more of a gray-blondish-brown than a light brown like I thought it was going to be based upon the pictures. It's also a bit shinier than the other three wigs but it's still very pretty and not very shiny compared to other wigs that I own. It's also pretty thick and soft. While it's pretty, I'm definitely selling it as it's not at all the color I thought it was going to be though with lighting I could see how it could be pictured as the one in the image.

Exactly as pictured! My roommate said it was her favorite out of all the ones' I got and it looks incredibly realistic. The shine is minimal but obviously still there but it is soooo soft. One of my softest wigs that I own. It also has a good deal of highlights and lowlights running through it with black and lighter brown/red streaks running through it giving it great depth and what not. The thickness is also great. At no point does the wig cap show through or anything. Very great wig and would definitely recommend to others if you want to get what you see in terms of product picture.

Just to be safe, I wouldn't use heat on it but then again, I've never tried it so I can't really say. And I've had another of this shops wigs for somewhere close to 6 months (and wearing at least 3 times a week) and it is still one of my silkiest wigs as long as you brush it right. They are incredibly easy to brush.

But I'll look into the shipping tomorrow but you sure you want me to style the bangs? I can easily but you could always do what I did in the beginning and just take it to a hair stylist, put it on and ask them to style it (I just used the excuse that I was about to lose all my hair or something). If it's just something like the bangs, you can usually get someone to do it pretty easily. Depends. Taobao are Chinese stores. So a lot of the stuff is either cheap knockoffs or Chinese brands. Most of the stores you're going to have to go through a shopping service, but some of them do work with foreign customers so you won't have to go through a shopping service with them. I've never seen a replica or original pair of Grimoire tights in person, but seeing as I have shit luck with tights recently (e.g buy a cool pattern pair for £3, two wears later manage to ladder them) so for an expensive pair to break I would rage so much. I normally have the opposite problem, bust L size and waist M size. I usually get the bigger size and it looks all right since the bust fits. I would also advise you to get the bigger size, simply because it's easier to take in the bust darts if it looks really bad, but nearly impossible to add fabric to make the waist bigger.

Alternatively, you could email Martin (clobbao) and see if the blouse you want can be custom sized -- as far as I recall, Infanta is kind of selective on what kind of items they can custom size.

Not that poster, but the original requesting anon didn't specify a particular style of braids, so I also don't see why she couldn't just get a long wig and braid part of it in whatever style. As long as the wig is thick enough you can usually tie mini ponytails into it without lifting too much hair and showing the weft/wigcap underneath, which you can then braid.

But you will have to deal with customs, and you might have to pay out your nose so your parcel will be released. I've ordered off taobao twice, and I've never been charged yet, but again, it was probably a fluke or the people in the post office think I'm a hobo (yes, they will judge you on appearance).

Just make sure the parcel is marked as gift or an amount less than $50, it will minimize the possibility of exorbitant custom fees. It won't ensure that it won't happen, but every bit counts.

Similar situation, I'm half white and my dad owns a yacht club and his own company. I'm from metro manila though, so I don't know shit about provinces. My favourite mall while growing up there was the Powerplant/rockwell mall, Serendra, and Greenbelt 3. I havent been there in years though, so I'm not sure what they have now. Mall Of Asia might also be worth a visit.

If you want cheap to mid-level shopping areas, there's cubao, greenhills and the various SM malls around the country. If you want REALLY cheap, you can go to the Divisoria area, though you'll need a guide and you'll have to be really, really careful of your stuff... but they have tons of fabric and clothes and various doodads for wholesale.

Does anyone know of good scarf shops? I'm particularly interested in neutral/"ethnic" coloured scarfs (think mori and dolly kei), but I'm also interested in general scarfs. Thin, thick, cotton, wool, etc. I wear a sweater/scarf three to four days of the week and really want to spice up my wardrobe.
I know this is an easy one to search, but I'm wondering if anyone has personal experience/knows of a shop that sells a lot of scarfs.

Basically I paid for my items but buy the time they ordered them a few of the were already sold out. So thus I was going to get a refund but I asked them to take it off of my second payment. I wrote down the CNY they were going to have to refund when they first sold out of a particular selection. Anyway so my items arrived and they are weighed in and they calculated the refund. Well since the selection on one page only left the unpopular items they reduced the price even more so my refund was not of the "full" price I paid when I initially paid. I even pointed it out in the math from all the items bought but they made up excuses to not give me my "full" refund.

I didn't have screen shots to back up my claims to they took an extra 10cny from me.

Which is like under $2 but still if they could do that to me I wonder who else they did it to if they weren't paying attention.

Ah, I see. I guess that paying the extra shipping to the USA is worth it. I'll probably want to go to mid-level shopping areas. I'm really looking for anime stuff -- it doesn't matter if it's bootleg but I am going to attempt hunting for legit figs.

For legit figs I would say Wasabi Toys in Greenhills would have them, and they do preorders. There are actually several stores in Greenhills that sell legit merch for relatively cheap, but you'll have to look for them (and sift through the stores that sell mostly bootlegs).

An-tai-na makes engineer boots, but if you're talking Secret Shop direct knock offs you won't find them on taobao unless you get super lucky with a second hand/used sale. the Secret Shop factory has a contract with Clobba for exclusive rights to sell those models (As well as most of the other boot models they do, like the VM short boots)

eh, in terms of pricing, Clobba is actually really on par with ordering directly via Secret Shop (you can order through the factory on the models they don't have a contract on, if you have a SS who knows how/who to contact). And Martin is really nice.

How would I look for purse strap blanks on taobao?

This might be a dumb question, but I'm looking into purchasing some of my first lolita items after saving up and working for some time. I'm looking into petticoats and I've seen Classical Puppet reccommended a lot and I'm willing to buy one but I know it takes a long time.
