I want to dress up as a Medic from TF2 probably sans the Medipack because I don't believe I can construct one in time since I don't have a lot of free time, but it's something I intend to continue after Halloween.

But man if I don't lay off the carbs I'll be more like a.... Fattic. Whatever that is.

I'm wearing a white lolita dress and doing a white/gold renaissance type queen outfit.

I'm using this crown and covering the red velvet part with white fabric, making a sash similar to this one (minus the chains), making a standing lace collar, plus adding on lots of pearl necklaces and a brooch.

We'll just be hitting a movie and going out to eat that day.

I really, really hope I can be around my bf for Halloween. Probably gonna recycle my little red costume from a couple years back. Maybe I can get my bf to do like what my ex did and be a wold. Hah.

the only halloween-able dresses i have are from Baby. their recent sleeping beauty and sweet hexenhaus (hanzel & gretel). i guess gothic lolita is legit for halloween, could do that.

I was going to go to the Danny Elfman concert in LA, but my brother ended up buying tickets for the 29th instead of Halloween. I do plan on making a Sally costume for the concert and I'll wear it on Halloween.

Probably won't go anywhere, as I can't sew and I really don't wanna bother my mom about it, because she just tells me too buy something at a store. And that is exactly the thing I don't wanna do, because two years ago I went to a party in one of those sexy nurse costumes and my oversized needle broke along the way. So when i arrived all these people dressed as creepy clowns, dolls, zombies just looked at me like wut. And I was asked multiple times why I was dressed as a nurse, because nurses aren't creepy. I felt really awkward, it was like that scene in Mean Girls but then a bit flipped around. It is really conflicting, because the people in the Netherlands want to be creepy things while our stores promote all the sexy police outfits and fairytale characters.

I'm from /fit/ and I'm looking for just about any costume idea and I'd be really grateful if I had some opinions from people who costume as a hobby.

I have one class that day. I'll probably do a little homework afterwards, then maybe go bother my boyfriend. Or since we'll see each other on Friday, I could buy some sale candy and we can celebrate Halloween with scary games/movies and trees. <3 No costuming for me, though.

As of right now I'm planning on doing femme John Snow. I got this fur cape and joked about doing it since my hair is naturally curly but I figured I wanted to make a cape anyway so I'm making nights watch costumes for me and my boyfriend.

I did this a few years ago!

I had the good fortune to find a round, red tablecloth at a thrift store, so I cut a neck how in it and painted on the spiderweb (don't underestimate the time that takes, by the way) and it worked out really well!

The only thing I can think of pulling off is Garth from Wayne's World.

It's messed up because most people, especially on a cosplay board, would consider doing a couples cosplay as something special. Reusing the same idea with a new BF makes you look cheap, lazy, and like you didn't consider your BF feelings at all before you made a decision. The reason you are getting so defensive is probably because you know all of that, but don't want people to call you cheap, lazy and tacky.

If you really need to rewear red and really need your BF to couple with you the least you could have done is thought to ask him to be the hunter. The truth is though, that that costume probably looks like shit and you are kidding yourself into thinking you look "classy."

Can I pull this off in public without ending up in a registry somewhere?
