checked the kickstarter page, and it seems 10k gets you dinner with developers. So my guess is that AX is using this as means to invite at least one person involved in this project as GOH for next year. I mean, if they can get Nobuo Uematsu for AX, just imagine the buzz it will generate.

But I get the feeling even AX will fuck that up too, especially if they let Allison McKnight do the talking.

2012 had long lines which was a combination of an old badge system and a blackout on Day 0. They received tons of complaints and throughout the year people were going "it better not be another line con" constantly.

2013 rolls around and not only are they using their old badge system but people are waiting in line even LONGER. There is no way you can justify waiting 6 to 7 hours in line to just get your badge. People who paid for a full day pass have lost an entire day which is bullshit. How can you justify selling people buying 4 day passes but dicking them out of one of those days with waiting in line?
