Non-cosplayer here wondering what do you do with your cosplay stuff when you're not at cons and such?

Store it away. I have a box for wigs, a lot of my cosplay clothing so far is used in my everyday wardrobe (more or less). Props are stuffed up on shelves with my collection of hats.
I know most have ordered boxes for each cosplay.

It.. Goes in the closet until next convention.

What were you expecting?

>> No.7086139

I throw it into a pile and have sex with it.
Is that what you want to read OP?

>> No.7086140

Hang it up in the wardrobe.

Or if it's falling apart, use it for sex and completely ruin it.

>> No.7086192

Depends on the outfit.
Dresses and big hangy things I hang up.
Wigs get sealed into plastic bags and packed away.
Props and wings are usually stacked somewhere, or many pieces are placed into large bags and labelled so I can get into them later.
Things that are easy to iron out or don't require hanging get thrown into a bag and tossed aside until whenever.

I don't wear my costumes between conventions, so I try to pack everything away as well as possible until convention season comes again.

I period all over it then sell it on coscom.

I'm just trying to imagine an entire closet full of costumes, and it's kind of hard.

As am I.

>> No.7086402

I have a giant closet that I completely dedicate to cosplay - it holds most of my costumes/shoes and some of my armor/wigs

I can post a picture later when I get home if anyone cares

>> No.7086479

I have an entire bedroom to store all of my stuff, and lots of totebins/dressers to put things in. It isn't that complicated.

>> No.7086576

Put it on the closet until the next convention or cosplay reunion, also... sometimes there are pieces of a cosplay that you can use as your daily clothes...

Think about a walking closed (Yes one of those huge closets that are so big that you can hide in there with your PC a couple of snacks and live there for a week
