I dunno, I see how people could dislike Misako (lack of expressions for sure), but she really looks like a living doll to me. I think part of her appeal is her face is very...plain? Not plain like ugly, but she doesn't have any really prominent or harsh features, and her face is sort of round and soft looking but not chubby. Her kind of generic look makes it easy for her to transition to different styles by changing her hair and makeup. She also has a perfect figure for lolita. She's petite and slim but not super skinny like some of the other models so the clothes fit her well.
She's been around a while so she's a familiar face to most lolitas. There might be more beautiful models, but she's still the "face" of Baby to many people.
