From memory it's the same design, just a slightly different pose and darker colours and without the cat mask in her hair yes. If I had my copy on my I'd scan the page for you but unfortunately I'm overseas. ^^; I'm sure someone else will have their copy and be willing to scan it... Based on already done cosplays of it though, you're going to need a LOT of fabric.

Independent illustrator. Best known for her illustrations of sweets anthropomorphised into cute girls. Very popular with lolitas and has collaborated in the past with lolita brand Mary Magdalene. Has also done collaborative/doujin volumes from video games (notably Final Fantasy series and SaGa Frontier). Recently released her own tights design and looks like she'll be doing more, similar collaborations and designs in future.

She doesn't post any of her completed works in HQ online since she sells them in artbook collections. You won't have much luck finding her stuff on tumblr either since she tracks it to make sure that if anyone starts circulating HQ pics she'll notify the tumblr staff and have it taken down.
Zerochan has a fairly decent collection built up but it's all in LQ and you won't find any of her new pieces from Alice's World 2, Delicious Girls etc in there.

I want to order the latest artbook from Alice Books, I reserved it too..
I was hoping someone could help me since I can't log into my account.

I just decided to cosplay this as of last night for Katsucon.

searching sakizo/sakizou will usually turn up a few books, but you're look at paying around 3x the original price.

You can also check Japanese auctions, but they tend to be at least double the price of the originals, leading to a cost of at least three or four times higher when you factor in shopping service fees and shipping.

There's also a seller who has been putting up the same few books recently who hopped accounts. They're rare ones, but not worth the risk. The first account used had a lot of negative feedback, saying the seller didn't ship things, and the more recent one has about 10 negatives? So be careful.

And now, Y!JA is getting filled up with custom costume makers, many of them hilariously using western cosplay photos as their examples. If it goes the way the last tights did, there should be more than one round of reservations, but if not, you may want to order through a shopping service. Those things sold out so fast the first time that only the brown colourway made it to an international shipping release. Second time was a bit less intense, but still sold out quickly.

Whoa, lucky. Were you able to get them in the first order batch? I camped the site for days and by the time it said they were sold out before the international shipping opened. I was able to get white on the second round, but a lot of people didn't have the same luck unfortunately.

Sorry, but this is mostly inaccurate, I think only part that was accurate is where there were two rounds of sales.

The first time Alice books opened reservations, it was Japan-only, and it wasn't ready stock, just reservation. The brown colour sold out first. It sold out on the first day, but was around for a few hours at least. I got my SS to put in for the white tights for me, we were a little slow to get the brown.

When the tights were done being made, a second round went up, this time it's ready-made stock, not reservations, and it was open to both Japan and international orders. I know it was available definitely for at least a couple of days, because everyday I visited the website while debating getting the brown tights I missed out on, but I'm not a short slim Asian, so it's silly to spend so much on two pairs of artist tights that may not fit. Then someone posted her tights on tumblr and *then* they sold out within half day after that. I think there may have been more brown ones made based on brown selling out first in the reservations, which is why you think they're not popular when, when there's just more stock of them.

Not to say the next round of tights will follow the same pattern. It seems like you have to be diligent checking the sites every few hours around the time you expect the tights to be released/ready.

Maybe I'm mixing up the releases then. I was watching the reservations for days waiting for it to open to international shipping, since it said it eventually would. I never saw the ready stock for the white go up and the pre-order said sold out, so I bought the brown on July 9th.

I got the white over a month later on August 16th.

Ahhh yeah, I can see how that could happen, the white ones on reservation actually took days to sell out. Brown was definitely more popular.

If it helps anyone, the first round (Japan-only reservation) actually had a date that said they would be ready by. Then, either on the same evening or the next day, the second round (ready stock, international order available) opened. So if this tights release follows the same pattern, you don't need to check the site every day, just note the completion date from the first reservation and then start checking it close to the completion date.
