They need to find a new venue if they are going to improve it at all. Shit's way to fucking small. The lines are long as hell. Also, I'm not sure if it's me, but wow there seems to be a lot of weebs. Higher than a lot of cons.
The weebiest convention I have ever been to is Zenkaikon though.

To me, Acen is more of a party con than anything. I was in my young teens when I first went though, so maybe people 18+ have more fun? It's only an hour and a half away from where I live, so I feel like I need to go one more time before totally cutting it off.

But there were pros! The dealers room is really fucking awesome because it's GIANT. So is their artist alley. I loved their pre-reg badge system too because they can ship your badge to your home before the con. Their organization was just terrible though when I went, if they fixed it up it could really be a terrific con!

If you stay in the main hotel for colossal they have little fridges and theyre super roomy.
My group is getting one of the full kitchen rooms and were going to stuff like 30 people in it. But, everyone should have room regardless.
It's so fun though, we barely had time to go to the waterpark because there is so much to do. We didn't even get to go to the zoo, and ziplines even though they were outside out room because we were so busy with the fun.

I have only ever been to Supanova because like I said there is hardly any cons where I am from. There really is only Supanova and that goes for most of the rest of Australia too. Its our biggest convention here. I have only ever been to Supanova (both in my own town and interstate wise) So I guess I'd have to say that's my favorite. But I am traveling to America next year for conventions, so that will change! :D

I'd have to say Animania... when it still existed. It was a tiny ass convention with little to no booths, no fun and in general just boring as shit. Plus they charged a shit ton for entry and all for what?! I am more then happy to pay 30 odd dollars to get into Supanova where there is heaps of things to do and see, but not for something that has absolutely nothing to offer. Hence why I only went twice and then a few moths later the convention was shut down for good. It had so much potential, but the people that ran it where incompetent.

I wouldn't say that's a large amount but I don't think it's necessarily average. Most of my friends had somewhere between 1 and 6 by 19, but most were somewhere in between. Also, none of my friends started having sex until they were 15, and 15-16 was the average. I know of a few people who started earlier, but by and large I'm not sure that statistic is quite accurate. Depends on what you count as cosplaying. 2011 was when I made my first real costume and wore it at a con, but as far back as 2001 I wore closet cosplays of the kids from Digimon, and in 2003 I made the pants and shirt of a season 3 character as my sewing class assignment. Unfortunately I haven't had the funds to finish a cosplay since the one I did in 2011.
