Just purchased this from the sales comm. It's my third JSK so any help would be appreciated. I'd like to wear it with a red blouse and brown brogue heels but have difficulty picking matching tights and accessories.

How can I pull more colors into a coord involving a jsk that is simple and 3 colors (white, sax, and pink)? I thought about wearing accessories involving yellow, but I don't want it to look forced.

Despite its color, you need to keep in mind that this is a very sweet dress. A funeral veil and full Mana makeup is going to look really off with it. That said, you could go either sweet or classic, black can be coordinated with almost any color. I picked sax blue and picked out gold accents. I'd hate to see that gorgeous neckline overwhelmed, so I stuck to a simple bolero.

You don't really need to have matching accessories. Do you have any basic blouse/accessory colors? There's a lot of cream/ivory in the picture that you can pair with. The stock picture looks pretty wonky to me, so if you can take a picture of your dress, it'll probably help. Black will most likely also go well.

How crafty are you? You can make a head accessory with a black cat or clocks/gears.

sorry, this is really crappily/hastily put together. I just bought his JSK and I'm still fairly new to lolita/putting coords together. One side is a gold/black coord and one is just black. I'm not quite sure what to do for hair accessories for both of them (though I do have a headbow in there, was thinking a beret for the kuro one?) and not sure of a good bag for the gold/black. Unless you plan on going full over-the-top classic, I would keep things simple and let the dress speak for itself. A beret and oxfords sound adorable, and would make for a cute scholarly look. Keep your browns consistent - variations within a hue are fine, but make sure they're all a cool brown. I might even swap out the laces on these shoes for a greyer brown. Good luck!

I wouldn't try to fight the silhouette too much. A cinched belt or vest is probably going to make the dress hang awkwardly (but you could always try!), but exaggerating the draped shape with a long, flowy cardigan would give you a great basis for a mori-inspired outfit.

I'm not sure which purse you mean, so I just guessed. I definitely would not go too nuts on accessories or accompanying pieces, since this dress already has so much going on. Pick accent pieces that tie in with the dress's color scheme, and if you can work some simple dots in as well then rock on! If you have a minimizer bra, that'll be a big help (NOT a sports bra, unless you want boobloaf). Avoid anything with a big floppy bow or jabot, as it'll make you look bigger. Mary Magdalene's Artemesia blouse or something similar to it could work really well for you; all the little frills and tucks provide the visual interest needed for a lolita outfit, but since the details are so small and lie flat they won't add any volume to your chest.

It's not a print that sold very well, but she has the most popular colorway (and the best one imho). Right now the black bustier version of that is selling on AP USA for about $212 because it just won't sell.

AP USA typically adds the shipping costs from japan to the retail price and an extra crazy fee to their shipping. I've not had the privilege to purchase from AP USA at a convention, but it wouldn't be crazy to assume that they'd charge a little extra at the convention on top of the base price + ems.

But it's not too crazy and unreasonable of a price considering she got the headbow with it. I think I paid $340 including shipping for just the Day Dream Carnival jsk from AP International. That was the last big purchase I bought from AP directly.

I'm more of a sweet lolita with a taste for classic myself, but I think if you pair it with brown or ivory/beige colors, it would mute the sweetness of it. A burgundy cardi or bolero would make it pop. A chiffon blouse would look lovely. Try a small, subtle hair accessory. Wear your hair or a wig that is curly or wavy. Stay away from cutesy hairstyles like pigtails. Jewelry wise, pearls and refined rings (nothing too big) are a go-to. If I have time, I'll make a collage.

I think that the outfit becomes over-saturated and less cohesive when you do pattern on pattern. Instead of going for tights with a lot of color, try finding ones with a subdued pattern throughout but that still have enough going on. I'm looking for a pic of what I mean, I'll post it when I find it.

It's a very over-the-top dress, so my first instinct was over-the-top. The saddle shoes will work in a more toned-down outfit, and a simple beret would give you the same sort of look as a chef's hat without being costumey. Hope that helps!
