A friend of mine went to Otakuthon 2013 in Montreal. She asked me to help her identify the characters in the pictures she took (just the series they're from is fine). I identified what I could but I'm not into the anime scene at all so I'm requesting your help!

Please note: this is nothing too serious; see it as a "treasure hunt"-type activity. Some of these might be very obscure or difficult to find. It's not that big a deal if some of them remain unidentified.

If threads like these are frowned upon, please feel free to let it drown. Thanks in advance; any help is appreciated !

Confirming that this is definitely Mei, though a terrible one. Rikka has a yellow bow in her blue-tinted hair with a side pony, a red plaid skirt, white bias on the collar & pockets of her blazer, and otks. Mei has knee highs, a navy skirt, raven black hair, with no hair accessories.
Though considering her navy sweater there is supposed to be a double breasted blazer, and the bump on the side of her head might be a ponytail, it might be an even more poorly done Rikka. Since we can't see her knees, it's possible that otks are just barely hiding below the picture. Also shorts, who knows what she was intending there. But at least they're dark, which is the same color as Mei's skirt. If this girl cosplayed Rikka, would she wear red shorts, I wonder?
But due to the lack of a yellow bow, which would be a big character mark for any cosplay, and as easy to acquire as the red bow around her neck, I'm going to say this is supposed to be a Mei.
