Just popping in to say anorexic here, 28DD or something like that, I last measured five years ago and got more skinny since then so I'm probably a different size. I'm skin and bones and unfortunately the boobs have stayed the same (if not grown despite my efforts). But you do get back problems and lots of other pains when you're too skinny regardless of what your breast size is, even if you just put on a little fat it'll help them a lot or even completely cure them. Also when I am depressed (ex. depressed and not on working antidepressants) my body gets a lot more pains even if I stayed the same weight, so that's another thing to look into.

As for breast surgery, I don't understand why so many people are against it. It's a very commonly performed surgery, and as long as you don't live in a shit country it will be paid for by the government since it's for your health. Also breast cancer is probably a lot more common than, say, ankle or arm or eye cancer but that's besides the point. Might as well do it when you're younger and heal better.

Measure under the bust, then measure around the bust (with your boobs "positioned" where they would be in a well-fitting bra...). The underbust measurement is your bandsize, the difference between underbust and on-bust measurement gives you your cup size (1" = A, 2" = B etc.).

Bra measurements used to have to add 5" to the band size due to materials that didn't stretch very well, but nowadays with modern materials the stretch is there and so you don't need to add that 5". This is perhaps a controversial point as some people are absolutely convinced you have to amend the measurement, while others actually experiment and discover they don't have to. Your best bet is to take your measurements then try on a few bras around that size and choose the best fit. Also, it should go without saying; you pay for the quality.
