Princess Peach, Mario Tennis

Hard Mode.
Made this for a friend's party in July, she set up a pretty cool obstacle course in her backyard and had a "Mario Party", hence the silly socks, lack of wig and keeping my glasses on.
When I wear it to a con it will look slightly more professional.

Its honestly not all that well fitted, especially in the crotch. The crotch is lower than it should be, which makes me look really short, but any higher and I would have trouble moving. The legs were just a lot of slowly taking it in little by little until it worked for most basic movements. I cant squat in it, but I can get up stairs so it works.

My friend and his cousin build the head for me. I love it but my two only regrets with this are are:

1. Getting brown fabric for the horns instead of black (When my friend and I went shopping for the fabric, he was like "Are you sure the horns are brown and not black? I'm pretty sure they're black but you've seen the anime and play the VN, you should know. I stupidly said yes.)

2. Not having a gold chain for the suit where the bottoms are connected and having the One Winged Bird emblem on the suit (these can be fix however so I'm not really tripping off of this.)

Hard Mode - Last week

As a side note my armour malfunctioned about 10 minutes before the cosplay contest where this pic was taken and I died a little bit inside.

Last cosplay was Kagari Izuriha....wore it at AN2013. I've been on the broke side lately so I haven't been able to cosplay

I actually did use it for the ends of both the waist skirt and larger skirt as well as use of interfacing and folding over for more pleating but I guess it wasn't enough + heavy fabric. I used cotton sateen. I just fluffed it up and opened it for pictures though so it wasn't too bad

Yeah this was my day 3 costume. Lot less people got the character then the first day with the iconic white piping polo. Day 2 was a black t with Brocks jacket over it but cant find many photos of that as i gave it to my friends girlfriend to wear for most the day as it was cold as fuck.

I don't think it's silver. I honestly fought over what color to buy for weeks. I spent a very long time looking at the in-game model, from well, maining her and I was convinced it was platinum blonde. I play on two different computers so I don't think its my monitor.

Thanks! Yes there is galaxy lining but it's not too noticeable unless up close. There are some gems that sparkle when walking but for some reason they never show up in photos.

Sadly besides my friend who tried to cobble together a last minute Doc V costume after seeing the positive reaction cosplay there were no other Venture Bro's cosplay at PaxAU. Now he and his fiance are hooked and we plan on doing a group cosplay at supernova next year. He is a dead ringer for Spike and his fiance could pull off a convincing Faye so that leaves me with Jet Black. I am totally ok with this.

Sigh, if only he had listened to me from the start and stuck with the original plan for him to go as the monarch and his fiance as Dr. girlfriend it would have been even better at Pax.

I have pretty big eyes, circle lenses prob don't help. Also not wearing any lipstick, just some clear gloss. My lips have a lot of color, but I didn't edit the photo, photog did, so not sure if anything was done to them.
