When I was younger, I really wanted to do human versions of Tatl and Tael with my twin brother.

Now, I'm not really big on gijinka-type things, but I still think it'd be a lot of fun. Especially with doing the different colors Tael's wig would involve.

Link's only real feminine features are his eyes. Everything else seems rather boyish/masculine to me: thick eyebrows, big nose, full ottermode body, etc. There gets to be a point where men can look too masculine for him, but that goes for any teenage male character, really.

Link has grown pretty feminized nowadays, he's also shorter than most of the characters (even Zelda) in the games. His build can be easily hidden by clothes and he has a pretty girly face since he's an elf.

I agree that his face is slightly effeminate, but the rest of him is rather masculine. Most female Links I see have petite hourglass figures or are chubby, and most of them look much more feminine he than he does. And 90% of the time their craftsmanship is sucks.

Both of my favorite Links are male. I think if a man can pass for a teenage boy, then he'd make a pretty good Link. It's kind of impossible to look exactly like him anyway, given the size of his eyes.

Height is also the least important part of cosplay IMO, but suit yourself.

I am the OP of the last thread and have started many Zelda threads in the past, and it really makes me sad that so many of them derail into constant bickering over the dumbest things, and it usually has to do with who cosplays Link the best. C'mon, really guys? I expected better of this fandom.

I disagree that 80% of male Links are terrible. InkyLink, Tsuyosa, and Forcebewitya are some of my favorite Link cosplayers. But I also like Malindachan, and PL has made a couple good ones too. Link isn't a girly man in my opinion, I think he's more androgynous and can be pulled off by both genders. There are many great male Links just like there are many great girl Links. And in the end, I think that good craftsmanship is more important then who has the best face for him.

I hope we can all agree that cosplay isn't anything like the cootie wars we had in elementary school. If not, whelp, I guess I overestimated this board's maturity once again...

Gerudo Valley is up there for me and might just be #1. But I also remember spending a lot of time on the beach in MM, the Gerudo Desert in TP, and on Outset and Windfall in WW. I loved the music and the overall feel of Rito Island, but getting to the top the first time is kind of a pain and all those stupid birds slow you down. The design of the Rito people is pretty fantastic, though.

personally, I would go with a good face paint and sculpt up a really nice wig instead of using some kind of papermache deal. Because in all honesty, her head design doesn't translate that well into real life, so just make it more realistic.

Also, I think people should close their eyes for photos if doing Fi since that's how I always saw her in game.
