China's intmail.183.cn (their tracking website) doesn't update.

If you take your tracking number and go to USPS.com (assuming you're in the US), you should be getting it.

My SAL packages always arrive around 2-3 weeks.

You shouldn't worry. Sometimes USPS doesn't update until it's in your city. For instance, I live in Washington, and sometimes from China it goes to New York's customs and other times it goes to L.A. in California's customs.

When it goes through L.A.'s customs, it updates more frequent and is more up-to-date with the tracking. When it goes through New York, the tracking doesn't update until it's "Out for Delivery" in my city (then everything previous about NY is also updated that same day).

This is from my personal experience. I've made 14 orders from Taobao so far - ranging from 3kg to 20kg at the largest.

Taobaoring's SAL is the same as USPS's "Priority Mail International" which takes 5-10 days to arrive.

To people asking about agencytaobao, it seems they charge you a fee to take pictures of your items, I was going to use them but I didnt like that fee so I just stuck with TBR

I'm so angry with my agency. I placed an order and order a few breakable items (glass jars) and I told them I'd take 100% responsibility for them breaking as I'm the one taking the risk. They said I had to get insurance at 5% the cost of the order, so I was like, fine, whatever (even though if they break I'm sure they wouldn't pay me back). But they made my order total, added on the agency fees and paypal fees on one spread sheet and then for the insurance they've made it a second spread sheet and carried over the price, added the agency fees and paypal fees again and then added the 5%. The thing that pisses me off the most is that the price they've carried over from the first sheet to the second sheet has a $100NZD difference. Not impressed.

The shoes are from Antaina. They're sort of like rocking horse shoes, and are made of rigid material (but that's alright with me, my feet can't support itself in overly soft shoes). The ribbon are decent, but I'm still afraid of lacing the shoes up too tight (because they might snap). The shoes themselves have little stiff creases from shipping, which I'm a little bummed about.

It really completely depends on what you order. Clothes range pretty widely in price. You can look and see what you want to order, add them up, add in the domestic shipping, add a 5-10% shopping service fee, and then guess how much they weigh to estimate shipping from the shopping service to you. You can weigh similar items of clothing to have an idea what something will weigh.

You still need to get in contact with sellers if they're willing to. There can be loads of lollanguage issues there alone to make it detrimental.

The problem with the thing that keeps getting reposted on tumblr (and sometimes here) is that if you want to order a bunch of stuff from Taobao, you'll need to get in contact with all the sellers, figure out a place to put all that shit together in one package, and then get it shipped internationally.

I typically wear a US size 6.5 or between Chinese size 37/38. After reading the reviews of them fitting small, I decided to size up to a 38. I ordered them on the 14th, they arrived the next day! They came with extra heel caps, gel toe inserts and heel cushions.
The material is thick "leather" and seems to be sturdy. To my pleasant surprise the charm is not engraved which saved me from sporting a blatant replica or worse something misspelled. The shoes utilize a false buckle and instead have a clasp (as you would see on children's shoes). Here is where I found a problem. The buckle on the right shoe doesn't seem to stay buckled for more than a few steps. I planned on wearing them for a full day before reviewing them, but unfortunately I couldn't even make it to the front gate! I think the shoes are cute enough to warrant taking them to a shoe repair and having a real clasp installed.
