Can I request Ocarina of Time Link/Zelda duos, please?

I'm about to start on some but I'm having a bitch of a time choosing fabric: I want to make them unrealistic and all N64y, using a bright ponte for Link's tunic but then I don't quite know how to handle Zelda's ball gown. I don't know if I should go more royal (and in turn, more realistic) and use a nice bridal satin or keep them both cartoony and also try to find something uber-matte for her gown as well (which I think would make it much to plain for a princess). Next issue being finding these fabrics in that palest of pinks for the underdress.
I combed Joanns and hancocks and the only thing I found was a beautiful satin in the perfect pink that had excellent body to hold the soft ruffle/folds of the skirt but I worry it is far too a) faaar too shiny (especially with flash photos!) and b) won't match the fabrics I've long since chosen for Link.
Should I keep hunting for another fabric (if so, what? It needs to be stiff enough to not just hang limply from my waist and come in pale pink and fushsia/hot pink).

Uggggh. I am stressing stupidly about this.

I think it looks nice, royal and kind of expensive. It looks fine next to the tunic, after all, they wouldn't be wearing the same kind of cloth. I think it's very pretty, just make sure you get enough volume in the skirt so it doesn't look like a limp curtain tied around her waist.

Cosplayers hate on satin because few of them actually know how to sew with it, as the horror of cheap costume satin only seems to appear on shelves during Halloween.

As long as you know what you're doing with tension and stitch choices, I think it's a good pick. Are you planning on using the darker pink ribbon for trim? Be very careful about when and how you put it on, as appliqueing satin is often disastrous.

Oh I'm going to have volume alright! I'm doing a full circle skirt.This is a pic of my mockup (out of cheap, thin-almost-sheer cotton), if that tell you anything. Getting the fabric with dat drape should make this look fantastic (so I hope). I know would be wearing different materials but I'm concerned about making them too different to the point that it adds dissonance...if that makes sense. A girl I met at a con did this as her first costume. She did a more satiny material in a circle skirt and used ribbon as the accent too. The material didn't look so shiny in person (this photograph makes it look like 3 times as shiny) but the costume has a way to go. Hope to see yours around soon! I think the princess-y material is a good choice.

Despite most of the graphics being a rehash of Ocarina of Time, I'm gonna have to go with Majora's Mask. Ocarina of Time is the game I've played the most, since it was the first thing my mom got us for our N64, but holy shit did Majora's Mask leave an impression on me growing up. It was just so dark compared to the other Zelda games. I like the feeling of hopelessness it gives, and how messed up things were, like the transformation scenes when you put on the masks.
That game gave me night terrors for years until I finally grew out of them halfway through middle school. You guys wouldn't believe how many Majora's Mask related sleep walking/night terrors I had. Oooh man do I have stories about those.

Wind Waker. I loved everything about it other than the triforce-collecting section (which will be done away with in the HD remake so I hear!). My other favourite in terms of gameplay and soundtrack is joint Skyward Sword and Link to the Past. Skyward Sword was pure eye candy to me and the music was beautiful.
In terms of pure nostalgia, Oracle of Seasons/Ages. They were the first Zeldas I played and Ralph from Ages was my first game character crush

I guess for me it's OoT, it gives me all feelings of nostalgia. I know I was scared to death whenever it became night, and I could hear my own heartbeat trying to reach the castle town in time. I was also afraid of a lot of the bosses, but my dad always told me "Keep calm. There is a system behind all of their actions, just try to figure it out and you will be allright". I guess a lot of my feelings for the game come from my memories with my dad.

I never had a Game Cube, so I only tried Windwaker one. I didn't like it because of the graphics, but now I can really appreciate the effort that went into the game and would love to play it as soon as I have time.

I'm not very attached to TP, I don't know why so many people loved the look and say it's way better than SS in terms of that. Cause it's not. TP's textures are a muddy mess while SS just looks stunning. A lot of people seem to think that it's easier to have stylized graphic than more realistic ones, but it's exactly the other way round. SS's textures and designs are gorgeous and even though I'm not as attached to it as I am to OoT (or also MM), I love it for it's unique look.

I want to buy some prosthetic ears for OoT cosplay and I haven't really found any that really look excellent to me.
Aradani Anime ears look a bit small and the Large Anime ears look too large (and are $30+ a pair).

Should I try to get the stupid-huge giant/accurate ones, which won't work with other Zeldas or go with the smaller/cheaper ones and be able to use them for cosplaying the other games?
