this chart is shit BTW, curvy is a body type, so you could be curvy in addition to any of these other things. Curvy describes the hourglass body type. A girl with a pearshape that has medium fat % and medium muscle is still never going to be "curvy"

Toned, fit or athletic. But I'm married to someone who is skinnyfat. Bodytype doesn't play that big a part for me in choosing a person. It has a role, but it's honestly not of a high importance.

Somewhere between built/curvy. I have broad shoulders, a wide ribcage and narrower hips. So I don't fit the curvy picture well, but medium muscle tone and medium fat is about what I have at the moment, though I look a little more like the female built example.

The male side of the chart has me a little astounded. I think they're kind of underestimating the amount of muscle each of those guys has- the skinny isn't what I'd call skinny. He's got visible muscle tone- look at the pecs. He's more what I'd call toned, and both the "Toned" and "Athletic" don't seem like they're natural physiques. They look to me like something that is definitely coming from a lot of time at the gym. I'd file them all under fit or built, honestly.

Anyway, out of those pictures, I'd prefer what's labeled as skinny for guys, and skinny for myself. That skinny girl is pretty much almost perfect- little thinner thighs and wider hips and it'd be about my ideal body.
