Found a Kohta cosplay. For male cosplays you have to actually look up characters who are chubby and do a search based on that. 'Fat male cosplayers' won't turn up anything that isn't just a gag costume. I think the cosplay selection for guys is very limited, they don't have the leeway like girl cosplayers do because it's either the choice between a huge fat guy, a roided out muscle man, or a skinny asian boy. So it makes sense why bigger guys might be more self-conscious and more averted to putting effort into the costumes.

OP here...uh...to be honest I didn't even this thread would take off.

Basically just to clear up anything:
I just wanted to make a thread based on chubby, curvy, average weighted, large women/men because it's always interesting to see something different. I find the majority of good cosplays that are posted on cgl have very fit and slender women, which is fine with me, but every once in a while I'd like to see something different. I feel like there are a lot of great cosplayers who are curvy or mega curvy who ALSO look good.

I'm not putting down skinny or slender women or guys, I'd consider myself boarder lining between athletic and average, but I feel that most cosplays are better done with larger women or men who carry their weight well and look good with some fat or more curves on them.

Really interesting to see what is considered to be chubby here though. I'd say we have a pretty unique look on what we consider what.

Oh yeah and just so no one reads between the lines here, this is all I'm saying. Not implying anything else by not addressing anything else. We cool? We cool.
