She kinda looks like she was cosplaying as the smuggler class from KOTOR. Which obviously is based on Han Solo but seems like less of a stretch.

I think the actual problem is the makeup and bad photoshop on the cleavage.

I had a nice chat with her at a con once, she really is very nice and I think that makes me even more annoyed. No doubt she has done good cosplays, but it's shit like this that I question her motives, since our whole 20 minute convo was about how she "just cosplays for fun" and even agreed with me that cosplay is becoming massively over-sexualized. All while I'm staring at her half-naked bikini prints she was selling at her booth. Clearly she takes it more seriously than she lets on.
Also, I feel this way about dozens of cosplay women who do the same thing she does. The problem here is that LeAnna is truly a very attractive girl both in her face an her body, and Jessica does pale in comparison, and LeAnna is also a very nice girl, but just because you're super nice doesn't mean you're not an attention seeking slut who's incapable of cosplaying anything that covers your boobs, ass, and tummy at the same time, and has the nerve to tell people they only do it for fun. If you're ping to dress like a hooker, at least be straight up about it. Hell, when I cosplay something sexy, I own up to it because I'm not afraid to say I like the attention. The difference is I don't usually cosplay things that are overtly sexual.
My point is that I'm sick of the fakeness of these girls, and it makes me rage when they put on a bra and a skirt and have one defining characteristic and call it a gender bend and sell that image to horny men for fap material. That's really all I wanted to say. Thanks for all your input everyone.

To do Solo you need the jacket, long sleeved shirt and collar popped. Doesn't work well with chicks. The buckles and belts on her top are too distracting.

Third it was sexing up normal characters for attention.

Well yes, however, as a man I'd argue that all of us cosplay out of both fandom and attention seeking.

Albeit that it's harder to argue the fandom bit for women when they're wearing obligatory sexy cosplay because even the other half of the girls are trying so hard not to come across as slutty and yet still want to wear something subtly sexy. I won't pretend we guys don't both, ogle and make fun of the obligatory sexy cosplayers whether, we like what we see but we know what you're doing and we have a good idea of what you want- attention.

As for the feminism bit, if women were literally inferior they wouldn't be alive- the problem is society, they are "inferior" in that the genders can't see eye to eye. As a man, you'll initially value a woman by attractiveness before a relationship really takes off and as a woman, they'll initially value "statuses" such as intelligence, charisma, job/wealth.

As an individual, particularly us, our type that comes to these imageboards, we have a habit of writing people off and de-valuating them quickly because a lot of see ourselves as superior to the average jackasses we see at school/work/in public- and for good reason.

Now within our little circle, such as this group made up of /cgl/ lolitas and men from other boards(/vg/, /co/, /tg/...), we've gone to war and the reason is simple.

This circle has it even harder, we want both sex and a decent relationship, particularly the women and they're standards are higher than ours cause they want the whole package, which must be insanely frustrating. So what do you get? Sexy cosplay as an outlet for frustration.
