Is it bad if I sell a dress for a lot more than I bought it for? I recently bought a dress for really really cheap (as in under $60) when everyone else is selling it for $200-300? It's not that big of a deal. Lolibrary is only down for the weekend, so what probably happened is that the sellers put up the links before the maintenance and had to wait for the queue to update. Just ask the seller for measurements, and if you really want a dress and don't want to risk someone else getting it, leave you measurements and paypal address and tell them to invoice you if it fits.

FYI the print misalignment on the seams is quite noticable on most of this series, which is why so many went up for sale on auctions right after it was released. It was decently priced in that time (20,000~) but then went pretty high afterwards.

Was that the mint one that was in one of the sales threads? I'm bummed I missed out on that, but it wasn't in my preferred color so maybe it was for the best. I realize that different sellers will have different prices, I meant more as a general starting point in case I post a WTB and someone asks what I'm willing to offer.

The print misalignment thing is a bit disappointing to hear, didn't know about that. It's still one of the most beautiful dresses out there IMO though, so it's something I'll just have to deal with.

It was the mint one, which is funny because I have the exact same dress. She is swapping it with someone in our comm who has the iris colourway, who wanted the mint one herself.

On LJ, I would say $250 is far too cheap for a dress that new/popular. $300 is decent, probably not more than that (not incl shipping).

Every listing on mbok had clear pictures of the misalignment, and every one I've seen IRL (four now) are badly misaligned. It's because the bottles are quite large and there's not other random shit in the print like AP, BtssB and AatP have to sort of fill the gap.

I can imagine that it's rather jarring. Chalk it up to MM not having the same experience with border prints as some other brands, I guess. Does it hold up to MM standards of quality other than the misalignment?

I've only owned MM releases from late last year and this year, so I can't really say from experience. Compared to my other lolita dresses, sure it's great! But die hard MM followers have been very disappointed in the decline of quality and low number of new designs released, leading to worry that MM are doing badly and will close. For instance, MM Antoinette Fleur re-release is nowhere near as good quality in material and construction compared to the original release, supposedly.

Perfume is a summer release and has light cotton lining. The straps are very short, absurdly short for average westerners I would say. If you have any sort of bust, I would recommend altering the straps (replacing them with longer ones).

I've got small Bs, so hopefully it won't look too weird. Luckily the straps aren't elaborate or anything, so they seem fairly easy to replace.

Do you mean the pink colourway of Puppet Circus? Because I just saw it sell on Violet Blue for like $400 (OP version). They tend to sell for more cheaper than other consignment shops, though, but the pink colourway is the least popular.

Maybe! I tried looking on Fairy Angel for the pink Puppet Circus they had to compare prices, but I think the listing is gone. Though I can't imagine that any of them, at this point, are in perfect condition or anything, seeing as they're so old.
