yea actually i tried it. the hardest thing is mixing the paint to match the makeup. it ends to be colder toned. its pretty comfortable. it ends to get sticky if you sweat, but i religiously powdered the paint throughout the day and it felt fine. don't layer too much either, it tends to make the paint peel off easier. your fingers might start to peel off, but if youre careful and powder that shit to no ends then it doesnt really peel as much.

its pretty nice, but it was too much of a hassle to mix and apply, then to wash off (it washes off easily, but the clean up sucks). id rather do arm socks to be honest, but its up to preference i suppose

I have those too, and my biggest issue with them is that they're not a good size for people with, uh, smaller mouths, I guess? I actually wear the bottom set on my top row of teeth because the top set was way too huge. Not very comfortable either.
So I paid about $70 for half a set of veneers in the end, so at least they look pretty good, I guess, or I would have been a lot more annoyed. I've had them for about two years now though so I don't feel guilty about switching to toothblack for cons/meetups.

This is a test rig, but I've got the formula for the smoke solution/the power consumption worked out for the series of cartomizers. Can currently fill a relatively small jar with enough smoke to have 0 visibility at 1 inch (even when backlit) in less than five seconds, but I could easily triple or even quadruple this.

I've used Pax II, and I love it. That shit doesn't come off and is really quick and easy to put on as long as you have someone to help. Ben Nye and other types of makeup work too, but personally I find that it takes much longer to do - something about arm and hand texture keeps it from adhering as evenly as it does to your face.

It shoots it into the globe (airtight rubber seal), and then through a small fan in the neck, it unloads the glycerin vapor into a filter. None actually escapes. I can't really see why they'd have a problem with it.
Also though, worst come to worst, I'd be able to use it for outside photoshoots and the like.

In canon somewhere they mention hats needing horn holes. I've cosplayed Vriska with a pirate had and had to put holes in it or the hat would have just... not been on my head at all.

Good morning hsg, I have a bit of a overbite (bad enough for me to wear braces for it) and along with the fact that my jawline isn't very well defined this makes my neck and jaw disappear very easily in photos, I need some help with contouring and some pointers for angles which doesn't make me look like a worm.

I would really kind of need a step by step guide for contouring because for one thing I'm unsure if I can use black when contouring my normal skin tone and for the other I have a hard time with my troll make rubbing off when I attempt to contour it with a regular kabuki brush. I also have a hard time simply blending darker grey into the make up and make it look good/smooth/natural.

What sort of grey makeup are you using? If yours is rubbing off when you use powder, you may need a higher quality makeup (ie not Halloween makeup), or you probably need to powder-set it first. Anything like ben nye, kryolan/mehron, or even snazaroo shouldn't be rubbing off with a kabuki brush.

The case may be that I am not using enough powder but I find it hard to apply without rubbing off the makeup with the brush :/

I've never used supracolor before, but if it's anything like ben nye's cream, you should be able to powder it with neutral set, no problem. Maybe you're pushing down too hard on the brush, or you need a brush with softer bristles? Those are the only things I can think of, unless you're caking it on way too thick.

For trolls contouring, it's all practice practice practice. Try using darker grey instead of black. If you're using a cream based make up (like ben nye) just blend right on your face. If you're using water based (any kind of aquacolour, and snazaroo) then you'll actually want to swirl on the regular troll grey, then swirl into the dark (after spraying water on both cakes) then apply to your face. Blend blend blend.

Key areas to contour are under the jaw, under the cheekbones, nose, and those little indents on your forehead on the outside of your eyebrows.

Try powdering with a puff instead of a brush, and actually get enough powder on your face that it's almost white before you start to brush it off. And when brushing try to dab more than stroke.

If your skin is really oily you might want to switch to waterbased make up. Also, if you hand mixed your make up and used a microwave that will make it harder for the make up to set. Next time try just smashing it together and mixing.

Since it's a cape and you don't need it to stretch, look into broadcloth or quilting cotton. That should also be light and have better flow. Make sure you get enough to line it because hemming a cape looks stupid as fuck.

I don't think of the off-the-shoulder tops as "slutty" tbh. While a lot of people do just wear them because it's popular, Roxy spends the majority of her time wearing her default drunk/tipsy, which does make you feel warmer than you would otherwise.
