Yep. I've got several pieces of the mermaid set already. I've got. Wallpaper, Carpet, shelf, vanity, dresser, wall clock, mailbox, and I took that picture before I got the desk. You can see part of the shelf and vanity in this picture before I got the carpet.

Also, if anybody is looking for pieces from the mermaid or Caribbean set. Try hoping onto the different national/international islands(you buy the Tortiemer pass for 50 medals) each new island will have a different furniture piece on it. It's how I got the wall clock and desk today.

Are you just trigger happy? I had that problem with the DS version. I don't know if New Leaf is the same, but I eventually got in the habit of turning the volume all the way up and closing my eyes once the fish started going for the line. Then, wait until that plop noise and hit the button. That probably won't work for everyone, but I stopped scaring away so many fish.

Reporting to Isabelle has to do with villagers who pick up bad words in catchphrases or on clothing designs from other players. It has nothing to do with villagers just doing what they do regularly.

Also, I believe even if the villagers do move out, the placed they lived is cleared of what was there before. So if a villager moved in on top of your fruit tree, it will be gone when they move away.

The first few months of release for any large 3ds titles have been unstocked quite badly to increase the number of digital sales, which cost them nothing to sell, and aren't priced any lower than a physical copy.

This. I love the convenience of downloadable titles, but I just don't see myself ever actually wanting a digital copy over a physical one. I remember hunting at multiple GameStops for my Fire Emblem copy. It took me long to get the game, but it's so satisfying to have it physically. As far as the furniture goes: The only place I know of how to get mermaid furniture is to buy it with medals on the island. Pretty easy to do! Usually when you go there they will have one piece of furniture and then the wall or carpet for sale. Just gatta play mini games!

The house exterior as far as I know can only be bought at nooks when they are it available.

The design is great, the color, not so much. Lime green is a hard color to coord, and matched with dark purple looks a bit scene/hot topicy.
Try a darker brown with cream bow, or simply pink with white.
If you're set on that purple, maybe pair it with a blue, lavender, white, or maybe yellow.
For the bulk of the purple coloring, is it a solid color? or did you subtly stripe it? I like how it looks.
