Plus sized people never want to play plus sized things. They always say that there's no plus sized characters. Which is a lie, there's just not many attractive plus sized characters. Many of the plus sized characters would make great cosplays that most people have never seen before.
The Witch of the Waste. Urusula from the Little Mermaid. Kohta Hirano from Highschool of the Dead. That fat kid with the swirly cheeks from Naruto which I can't be bothered to look up.

Aside from that Holstarus (Cow Girl) and Orc from the Mamono Encyclopedia come to mind as truly 'chubby curvy' options.

Oh god. This is the same girl that always pops up in cosplay nightmare threads, the one in that nasty orange leotard and the huge cameltoe.

tbh There are lots of great plus sized characters that could be cosplayed. You just hardly ever see any people cosplay them. One great example is that adorable girl from Rune Factory. They just need to be able to fit correctly and stop wearing such tight shit. Plus, keep their stretch marks away with cream or something if they're gonna wear something revealing.

I used to be fat, am now chubby and working towards fit. I may be bias but I don't see a problem with plus-sized cosplay as long as you make smart choices and make an effort to construct costumes to flatter your body.

It's going to be a year or two until I achieve my goal weight and I don't want to wait that long to cosplay. I want to have fun with my friends, and I don't see how using corrective shapewear and optical illusions to make myself look smaller is any different than a skinny girl wearing three bras or girls with bad skin or unfortunate faces wearing circle lenses and truckload of makeup.

No one wants to see your ass or gut hanging out, but not all plus-sized cosplayers make poor choices. Most plus sized cosplayers who cosplay well make it pretty hard to tell they are plus-sized.

How does it feel that a fatty gets 10 times the attention you do?
How does it feel than most men would rather fuck a fatty than you?

A lot of fat, nasty weebs simply don't take care of their bodies in the first place. Not just that they don't eat right, but they don't take care of their skin, or properly wash and comb their hair, or clean up their lives.

They're the sort of people who don't get that clean sheets and vacuuming your fucking carpet and occasionally disinfecting your computer workspace will lead to less zits, infections, illnesses, and other shit.

They don't seem to get how treating your body like shit turns it into a saggy, pallid mess. Somehow, that extends to cosplay, and you end up with saggy, pallid monstorisities in poorly made costumes, who simply don't give a fuck and blame it on some sort of fat-phobia or fat-shaming, because, y'know, it's always everyone else's fault you're fat and ugly.
