it always baffles me as to how almost everyone in the TN con threads always post late in the AM
oh well, if anyone wants to hang out/doesn't hate me let me know.
I'm sad myasainsnacktime went out of business though, I miss their melonbread.
last year at this con, it was around the time of the chick fil a issue, and my roomie loudly proclaimed "I want chick fil a!"
and both her and I got swarmed by four different SJWs in real life, and got lectured. it was unpleasant.

I was going to go, but it's just too far. I'd love to hear if it's big enough to put on my calendar for next year though. I've just been to too many TN cons that weren't worth it, and the 7ish hour drive is too much for me even though my car could probably take it. Unless it gets stellar reviews, MTAC will stay the only TN con for me.

Good to know. My group going across the country cancelled for that weekend, so I wanted to go to ABC until I did research and realized how small/far it was. Do you think it'll be worth a 6-7 hour drive in a year or two? I don't want to write it off as something I'll never go to without giving it at least one chance.

Can people post reviews? I have a handful of friends going, but they're biased because they're super close/have been going since it started.

the artist ally is in a super crowded hallway, the dealers room is ok, bought an arkapasso.
the maid cafe needs matching uniforms, a couple of them looked weebish and I think it would look better if they wore the same uniform in a variety of pastel colors. they also need to stock up on food, they ran out last time. panels were dissapointing last year for the most part, and the lolita meetup was an absolute mess (the idiot in charge was pretty much grabbing anyone who dressed slightly japanesy)
the hotel is too small for this con and the hallways are always packed, but its a good way to socialize.

Damn, I'd be pretty pissed. I've never really gone to the Maid Cafes before, but they're generally organized better in Georgia from what I've seen. I've never heard many complaints from my friends who have attended.

It was my first con last year and I had a fun time. Probably wouldn't warrant a long drive, though. Stuff was a little messy and it was crowded, but imo MTAC was waaaay more crowded. I saw some great cosplay and everyone was super nice and fun. I met some cool folks who made it awesome.

overall, day one of the con was ass. almost all of the cosplays were shit-teir. it was like the god-awful threads come to life. I kept bumping into people I hated. I really can't exaggerate enough that it was one of the god-awful threads come to life.
Whilst in the dealers room, I was looking at a couple of goods, and this fucking hambeast turns around really quickly. I was smacked in the side by her enormous gut that could safely hold two small children. I was knocked over and collected myself to see that the hambeast herself didn't even notice she knocked me over. she was too busy eyeing the collection of anime buttons on the counter as if they were food.


Also, Spleen, have you heard of the Arlington tea house? its a victorian style tea place, you should def. look into setting up a meetup there. I know the girls would love it. again, my apologies for the harsh behavior torwards you, I was absolutely positive that you were my vendetta/stalker earlier, because you seemed to have more motive to hate me than most. I'm just glad that whole ordeal is over with and I hope you do get that creepy scum out of the community.

first day sucked balls, second day was awesome.
my roomie locked me out so I pretty much pulled outfits for each day outta my ass (worked suprisingly well)
I was hoping to meet up with some seagulls so I put a nametag on saying "Nia" and I carried around small gifts to give to people that spotted me from /cgl/ but none of you found me.

I played animal crossing with littlekuriboh and had a cool chat with cinnamontoastken (until my friend interrupted us, then poor ken walked away sad and dejected feeling like he interrupted goddammit I wish we could of talked more)

I've told you this once but I'm going to say it again--I cannot control an entire group of people if they choose to come to /cgl/ and spread crap. If I catch them then sure I have no problem banning said member. I'm not sure what you expect me to do.

I'm not sure where you get this information from ex members, if it's /cgl/, people can lie about who they are to start drama. If they truly are displeased with us, that's unfortunate because we are the farthest from that and I am not keeping anyone hostage to where they can never leave. If they feel there is an issue, they can talk to one of us about it.

1) We spoke about this already and I told you that I do not know who that person is. Also, why are you so convinced that it is us? People on /cgl/ can be assholes, too.
